In general, colors fades faster with EXCESSIVE exposure to sunlight, Frequent shampooing especially using Deep Cleansing or anti dandruff shampoos, use of alcohol base hairspray, gel or other hair products, etc... Darker colors tend to last longer than the lighter Arctic Mist, but all colors could last up to 30 - 40 washes... TIP: apply the color to hair and blow dry hair for 10 to 15 min. for Vibrant and Lasting color! The parts of your hair that are exposed to the sun are the most likely to fade out, while the under side of your hair will stay. Mix vitamin c powder with a dandruff shampoo to get remaining color out. Leave it in for 30-45 mins. You can repeat this as many times as you wish, it’s not damaging to your hair. **Q: Does this hairdye wash out over time?** A: I used it on my 9yo aand it lasted a really long time.
