Works as advertised, passes 4K HDR to TV and 1080P to AVR for audio with no drama.
I have an old Onkyo 606, it barely supports 1080p, let alone HDR or 4K, this allows me to split 4K HDR output to the TV and then feed 1080p to my Onkyo to pull the audio, it works really well. CEC doesn’t work whe hang this though, but apparently connecting one of the pins from input port to output port will resolve that if you are feeling brave. I have read of issues updating the firmware on this, but as everything works in my set-up, I am quite happy to leave well alone.

Works perfectly but EZ-SP12H21 may be better depending on the source
As a method of sending the signal to 2 TVs located in different room 1x4k@60hz and 1x1080, this worked absolutely faultlessly with a Sky+HD box, but when I changed to SkyQ I developed periodic vision and sound drop outs. After contacting the seller for advice, they very kindly sent an upgraded item (EZ-SP12H21) which has solved the problem. 5* for the product(s) and service.

Could not get uncompressed audio to work
I recently upgraded to a new 4K TV after my old 1080p one stopped working. Initially, I had my PC connected to my AV amplifier via HDMI, and then from the amplifier to the TV. This setup worked flawlessly, allowing all audio streams, including True Dolby HD and DTS HD Master. However, when I attempted to output 4K content from my PC, the AV amp didn’t cooperate because it was only HDMI 1.4 compliant. As a result, there was no picture displayed, as the amp wouldn’t pass it to the TV. To address this, I purchased the HDMI Splitter 4K 60Hz. This device successfully split the video signal, sending video to the TV and audio to the amp. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t transmit uncompressed audio formats like DTS HD Master or True Dolby HD. Despite trying various combinations of the two dip switches, I couldn’t get uncompressed audio to work. Ultimately, I decided to return the unit. It seems I might need a new AV amplifier. On a positive note, I did manage to pass through audio from my TV to the optical output, although it’s still compressed due to the limitations of the optical lead.

Great Product - Fit for Purpose
I was directed from AVForums to this item to fix an issue with my Freesat box blanking on and off every 30s or so when connected to a Sony Bravia TV via a Denon AVR. I kept having to reboot the Freesat box. This worked straight out of the box and provided a stable signal. I was able to take 5V power feed from a USB port on my TV.

Does what it says on the tin!
Amazing box. I had a broadcast monitor which was very picky in what it showed. Tried outputting a signal from my Bt vision box and it was flashing on and off every few seconds. When I fitted this box it sorted it no problem. I did see that the unit had got hot in one review,I’ve not had that issue. It removed the signal protection for me, great unit.

Perfect while it worked
The splitter is easy to set up and does exactly what it says - it duplicates an HDMI signal, and you can choose scaling to 1080p for one or both ports. In our case it was hooked up to an Xbox. However, for us it was a bit short-lived. After a couple of months, one of the displays started cutting out for short periods of time - after a bit than a year the first HDMI port is completely dead and does not seem to output any signal. Hence only 3 stars.

Sorted my hdcp issues on my tv
Bought this as recommended by an article as the connection from my sky mini box to my tv was getting an hdcp error saying my tv didn't support hdcp. This splitter bypasses hdcp and since installing it have not had any issues. It's a bit pricey at £29 but the alternative was to buy a new tv so cheap in that comparison. It's simple to set up just connect your hdmi cable from your device to the input connector and connect one of the output connectors to your hdmi input on your tv and your done. So if your having hdcp errors on your tv buy this, you won't regret it.

Stopped using it after a few weeks
UPDATE Sep 25. This keeps timing out where the screens go blank, it's now so annoying I've stopped using it. I've changed the power supply, the leads, and the settings, no difference. Annoying. Brought to duplicate CCTV images on screens in different rooms. Seems to work well but occasionally get screen image jumping on monitor momentarily. Using with brand new premium HDMI cables, so not sure what the issue is. Works 99% of the time though

Tried lots of hdmi bi-directional and matrix switches but this eezco splitter is the only one that works without a hitch. Got a 1080p tv and a 4k projector hooked up via an avr that has a hdmi 1.4 and a hdmi 2.0 video out. Connecting the tv to the hdmi 1.4 out and the projector to the 2.0 port would be easy enough but that confuses the apple tv into constantly switching resolutions. My blu-ray player can switch resolution depending on the output device but it always outputs a 4k signal as both outputs on the avr are always active so i can’t watch blu-ray on my tv. (Whish NAD would add a setting to disable out 1 or 2) Besides this the tv is connected via a 10m long fiber optic hdmi cable and the projector uses a 20m fiber optic cable. A hdmi switch that only draws power from the hdmi input can’t drive these cables causing interference and drop outs in the video. The eezco uses usb power (adapter not included) resulting in rock steady video. This splitter has none of these issues. It scales 4k input to 1080p on the tv and no buttons to press on the splitter when switching between projector and tv (even simultaneous output works). I’ve uploaded custom firmware which enables player led dolby vision (tv and projector don’t support dolby vision) so the atv and blu-ray player do the tone mapping of dolby vision content to sdr or hdr output. This usually makes the image darker so i don’t use it that often. The only thing lacking is arc and cec support for the 1080p output. The tv does not turn on or go into standby with the atv remote control like the avr does. Watching regular tv does not send audio via arc to the receiver so you have to resort to the spdif output of the tv.
