Book is great full of good information, I find this book alot easier to use then other Japanese text books Ive user Anyone wanting to learn Japanese i would suggest getting this textbook

I found this edition of the book after looking at ways to start learning Japanese, which lead me to a Reddit post with a link to a 2011 edition of this book, obviously the book for 2011 isn't the best, so after Crtl + C and Crtl + V ing the title of the book, I found this much more modern edition of the book, and I already felt excited just looking at the book. SN: I am aware that Japan reads books from right to left, and I made the idiot mistake of assuming that the same was for this book. I was wrong. If you think this book is from right to left, then you're wrong.

It's good and helpful for learning japanese with a tutor or a friend

Great for entry level japanese

I had heard that the third edition was an improvement over the second; and, having seen both, I have to agree. The courses are much clearer; easier to understand, and I am glad to be able to use these. It makes Japanese much easier to learn, either in a classroom situation, or individually. I am glad that I bought it.

One of the best textbooks to learn Japanese from. It is also used in actual Japanese schools and classes from what I’ve been told. I highly recommend it but I feel you should learn your hiragana, katakana and basic kanji first before getting into it. Highly recommend it.
