What's the height of the highest "steppable" step? And is this ladder good for indoor use, such as cleaning the tops of kitchen cabinets/cupboards?

Not sure. I’d a ~ 10 feet. Easy for indoor use, and, yes, can use for top level Kitchen cleaning.

Did anyone else ladder show up with no box or covering at all?

When my ladder arrived, it wasn't in a box or a covering of any kind. The ladder appears to be brand new. I guess the seller feels this is the best way to ship them. I have no complaint with the ladder I received. Again, I repeat, it seems to be brand new with no damage or nicks. I hope your ladder is in a similar condition as mine.
