With seemingly endless shortages in the supermarkets, I decided to buy cardamom pods online. I’m pleased that I did! You can’t make a decent curry without them. Full of flavour and aromatic, they really do make the meal. Note though that it’s important to store cardamom pods in an airtight container. Very good value for money and a quality spice.

Akbar Cardamom was a great buy for me. The elaichi pods are decent size, have more seeds, and have less husk.It has a good aroma and flavorsome when added to tea. A special mention to the 'Aroma Lock' ziplock packaging to keep the freshness and aroma intact. Moreover, it has no artificial colors or preservatives.

The inner seeds are oily and very aromatic, high quality. Using in chai.

By far the best ever I have bought, all the pods are fresh. The manufacture date is recent. 2 years shelf life.

Rich oil content and less husk. It has more seeds with no artificial colours ..
