I have arthritis, so I've had problems closing or especially opening barbell collars. I was about to order some adjustable dumbbells when I thought I'd try one more brand of collars. I saw Clout Fitness Olympic Barbell Clamps - they were highly rated, very reasonably priced, and the opening looked large, so I ordered a pair. And I'm happy to report they worked out well! These are easy to move up and down the bar before closing, which a lot of collars aren't. They close firmly, holding the weights in place well. And for me, very important, and I am able to open them easily without straining my fingers. My only complaint is that I ordered the purple ones so they'd stand out, and the purple is much darker than the pics. Still, I'm not worried about it since the look of the clamps is much less important to me than the functionality. In case you can't tell, overall, I'm very happy with these clamps - the price, the hold and ease of opening and closing. For me, these are definitely a 5-star product.

If you are an Olympic weightlifter or CrossFit or even just a regular gym goer, these clips are the truth. They lock down much tighter and are secure. I bought the blue set a while back and I am still using them so the durability is great as well. I especially like how the quick release snaps in and out of place when you are using it. It is very satisfying knowing that to your weights are secure when you are trying to lift them fast. They are easy to use as you can literally use one hand and to tight and lose the grip I appreciate how they have different colors, like I said I have the blue and now the red ones so I can swap back and forth between the two. They do no weight much which is surprising because they work well when I had 500lbs on the bar during a deadlifts I also dropped the weight from waist height and these didn’t even budge. I know it’s because of the rubber piece inside that hugs the barbell. This is great compatibility for anyone looking to find quick and beautiful clips. One down side about these, is that they are brand new when you get them so they maybe a little stiff at first, but when you start using them then they will be perfect 👌
