I am a very large gal with both rheumatoid and osteo-arthritis in my knees. I also am a high brown belt in TaeKwonDo training for my black belt several hours a week. In addition to being in chronic pain, the tendons and ligaments are always inflamed and also stretched out so my knees constantly hyper-extend with little to no encouragement! Traditional knee braces are not ideal for me as a) they do not fit well due to my thigh size (huge even when I am a healthy weight!) and b) I find them too restrictive for martial arts training (kick's and such!). I was desperate to find an option that stabilizes my crappy and overworked knees that stayed on and alllowed for good movement. Whoever invented this stuff it BRILLIANT! It goes on easily and stretches while still providing a light to moderate amount of support depending on how much you use and how you wrap. And it comes in fun colors if that floats your boat! It seems to stay on for a couple of days as well, which is cost effective, though I personally did experience some peeling on the edges which I had to keep trimming (though not until after sleeping in the stuff!). Other than where it peeled and then caught on clothes or sheets, it was pretty comfortable to wear, and I was impressed with how well it stayed on without being too painful to remove (and then comes off easily with water). Obviously, after a couple of days it was not as snug and supportive as ly appliedwhen fresh, but it still actually made a substantial difference in how my knees felt! And I literally only made an "x" across each knee. I will reapply it fresh probably for each class in the future and then wear it just for walking and general relief in between. Hopefully I won't get too much irritation with regular long-term use, but so far it's been looking good! Overall, one of the best buys I have ever made. Gonna get myself a BUNCH more so I never run out! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A high quality KT tape *by P***K on October 25, 2015* I run obstacle course with my family and I have piriformis and IT band problems. These just don't mix well. Without KT tape I'm barely walking after the first two miles. I've tried other 'waterproof' tapes and within the first mile they are coming off and I'm still hurting. I usually use another brand but got the chance to try this one.It is easy to apply. I like the fact that it is not thick like some other tapes, which means it doesn't pull up at the edges. It sticks well with just the heat of your hands. It lasts throughout an entire races and is waterproof. I like the uncut rolls because I can use it for my knees or shoulder and my husband can use it also for any spots he is having trouble with.It also has cutting guides which is great when taping both left and right side, or taping all summer long like I do. You can get used to cutting squares and not have to measure each and every time.I would recommend this brand for anyone looking for a similar product. It is ok but not great for my knee. For some reason, the adhesive does not stay on all day and I reviewed the info by my dr about how to apply and it is still not very sticky. Not sure why. I will keep adjusting to see what the issue is when wrapping up my knee.
