Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Low Fat Digestive Care Wet Dog Food, Chicken, 13 oz. Cans, 12-Pack

My dog suffers from Pancreatitis. She's a Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie) We've had to stop all table treats and this is all she gets along with pillpocket greenies for her medication. She's made it to almost 12 so far. Been on this 5 years. I highly recommend this minimal ingredient dog food.

All is as expected

My vet ordered this for my 8 pound - 12 year old shih tzu after a bout with pancreatitis. She loves this food. The cans are 13 0z and she eats the recommended amount of 3 quarter can a day. She licks her lips when I show her the plate. To say that she was a finicky eater all her life is it an understatement. With this food, there is no hesitation. Also, because she’s eating every meal, her energy level has picked up appreciably. Yes, the food is pricey, but I’m no longer dumping away food that she wouldn’t touch. In the long run, I’m saving money and feel good that she is finally enjoying eating. Also, on auto delivery to my front door by Amazon, I save gas by not needing to drive to my vets office. I see it as a win-win for both my dog and me!

This food addresses my dog’s health issues and she loves it. That would merit 5 stars. I give it 4 stars because not just occasionally, but frequently many of the cans in the package arrive dented. I do not know where in the delivery process this occurs but I wish the cans could be handled more gently. I love my dog and do not enjoy feeding her food from dented cans.

I feed my Boston the wet and the dry of the Hill's Prescription Diet I/d food, he has always had a sensitive stomach--tried different foods, bone broth, chicken and rice, the Hill's I/d has been the answer so far, been on it for about 3 months, so far, we are both happy

Our dog would get bouts of diarrhea on and off for years where she needs medication and prescription probiotics. The doctor recommended this to help keep a constant probiotic in her diet and (knock on wood) she has had a healthy tummy! We give her only one scoop per day and it's just enough. For the cost, it helps extend. I'm not a fan of having to get the vet to approve every single refill and I'm not sure why exactly it is needed.

Recommended by our vet because my beloved dog occasionally suffers from pancreatitis as well as tummy problems.

My daughter has a little dog that was having some health issues. Vet recommended this brand. The dog loves it, does not smell bad & dog is feeling much better.

This is good meal for my dog, he likes it, because hi has a problem I have to buy low fat food and another dog food he doesn’t eat.
