Verizon Wireless Freetel eTalk Prepaid Flip Phone (Gray)

I love this phone for my 85 year old mother. This verizon flip phone is the only phone she's able to operate with no problems.

This is the best phone I have found for my 92-year-old friend.Upside:Basic phone function is intuitive and similar to classic cordless phones.The speaker is relatively loud, the buttons aren't too hard to push.Downside:The volume buttons are on the upper right and easy to press, so its very common to find that an elder has pressed them without realizing it, constantly dropping call volume and/or ringer volume.Anything involving text is awful and cumbersome, including entering names and info in contacts.The phone, while not delicate, is not robust, and doesn't stand up to the fumbling and dropping from neuropathic and arthritic hands.It's slim pickings out there for flip phones, and while not perfect, I havent found a better one.

Got this flip phone for my wife and she loves it.

Bought 2 in the last 6 months and both broke at the hinge after 3 months or less.

did not get an oners manual with the phone ???

With 3G service being discontinued, this was the perfect move for me to 4G.

I'm pretty savvy at tech. This phone took me awhile to figure out. Making calls from the contacts list is difficult and requires too many actions/"keystrokes"..My dad is in his 70's and doesn't like this phone.

this replaced my daughter's other prepaid. we switched over and was able to keep the same number.
