Warning, the item is listed as Hen and Rooster which is completely false and a blatant lie. The product appears to be of decent quality but nothing special. I would not recommend to anyone without visual inspection prior to purchase.

Beautiful knife. Sturdily built, easy to sharpen and comes shaving sharp from the seller. The sheath is my one niggle, as it can be difficult to draw the knife one handed and the plastic liner inside make it hard to put away without using both hands to line the sheath and blade up properly. Not enough to take a star away though, as the rest of the package is incredible. Has a lot of heft to it, and you instantly can tell this is a quality item. I gave it a quick once over with the 6k side of my water stone and it is now silly how sharp it is. The handle is very nice too, both to look at and to hold. Has a slight satin finish to it that provides a good level of grip. The blade is not quite as long as you'd think, its a very good size for this type of tool.

Another excellent Kellam knife. Shaving sharp out of the package. Beautifully finished, nicely contoured handle which is very comfortable in my hands. I haven't used it yet but this is a fairly large knife with a thick back-boned blade and should have no problems handling general camp and moderate bushcraft tasks. This is my 3rd Kellam knife and I have never been disappointed by any of them.

Great knife looked at many online videos before buying. Have not put it through the ringer, because the knife is just to nice for me to mess up. Favorite part about the knife the handle made out of the curly birch.

OK, rather than a "I haven't used it yet and it's just a pretty piece to look at" review - here are some real use rantings. I've used it to cut rope, cord and wire. I've skinned game with it and batoned wood as well (not a serious need for as quality a knife as the Fang). It has cleaned limbs from downed pines for firewood, prepped lovely meals and has been dangling off my belt for the better part of a year. Most importantly, this large handle has fit my beefy mitts extremely well as opposed to thinner tanged/handled knives. If you want to get serious about a great knife and learn how to use it properly, this is definitely the knife for you. I highly recommend the Fang
