This blanket is so pretty that I am using it like a duvet or bedspread (although you need pillow covers). I love the way light plays off the squares stitched into the blanket. However, it is heavy and, therefore, very warm to sleep under. It is a good winter blanket, but I get hot in moderate to warm room temperatures.

This blanket is used for our guest bedroom. It is very soft and warm. Thicker than most blankets. I have washed it and it holds up well. No lint found after washing.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I needed a summer comforter that offered the same softness as our sherpa/velour thick comforter. I love vellux throw blankets but wanted something thicker than the throw but thinner than a comforter. This is perfect!

This Vellux Plush Lux was A gift to my girlfriend who is always cold, and she absolutely loves it. It is into cat friendly but this could be said about many bedding products. I bought the reddish colored one ....and it was a score. And I scored, too.

i like the feel of velux, the softest blankets ever. if you never have tried one, treat yourself to it.
