Wow! I had heard about Ridgid tools for a long time; this was my first experience with a Ridgid pipe wrench - why did I wait so long?? The aluminum is so much lighter than the steel, yet it still is strongly made. No one has to be concerned that the wrench won't be strong enough to do the job. Quality is exceptional - there are no clunky or stuck parts in any of the pieces. Worth every penny to have this wrench for use. Thank you, Ridgid, for making such an excellent wrench!

A must have pipe wrench. Hold up great. Grabs pipes like a champ. Strong an light weight. Ridge is the way to go for pipe wrenches. Teeth are sharp an are still sharp after years of use. Trustworthy and durable. Would highly recommend. Its nice not to have to pack around a heavy iron pipe wrench. An have put it to the test wrenching on old rusted pipes. Well built wrench. I bought this as i had run out of options to remove a broken cylinder from a humanscale chair. I tried taping it for traction and had used a bunch of various Knipex wrenches, etc but they all kept losing grip and spinning on the cylinder. I bought this bad boy, torqued it up and the teeth really bit into the solid steel cylinder and spun it out of the housing (not without it's challenge though, the thing was VERY jammed into the body of the chair supports).This is the best wrench I've ever used, EVER.

High quality as you expect from ridgid. I don't like the cost but ya certainly get what ya pay for.

We have three different sizes of the aluminum pipe wrench: 10-14-18I provided a quick review about the 14 inch, likely connected to the 18, but if not, here is are my quick thoughtsIf you buy a steel unit, it will be heavier, and not feel very good in your hand, and likely not nearly as enjoyable to use. If you buy this aluminum pipe wrench, you will love it. It is light, feels great in the hand, and somehow transforms every task into a job you like doing.I don't know how it does it, its magic, but these tools literally change the ease at which you perform the same job. If you don't have one of these yet, and are considering it, just buy it, you'll either convert all of your steel wrenches to hammers or sell them.Love these tools, the best without question. And these are genuine Ridgid products at a great price
