The dog seat cover arrived five days ago and it really smells of being stored badly in another country and I could smell it through the packaging when the delivery guy handed it to me (I'm sure you probably know what I mean if you have smelt this before).I have had it out of the packaging for five days to air but it still stinks so imagine how bad that would be in your car - not great.I attempted to return it for a refund to find it is not eligible for return.I contacted customer services and have secured a refund because it is not fit for purpose but just be aware that if it simply did not fit your car or whatever other reason you probably could not get it refunded.

I have been using this product for close to 2 months. So far I am very impressed and is far superior to the previous cover I used. My dog has learned to swim and this cover has done a good job keeping the seat below dry after a soaking wet 70 lb dog sits across the back seat for 40 min+. However, I was most impressed after a storm where I had some leakage into the car. You can see in the picture that the water pooled but did not soak through. The seat underneath was dry.

We got the Standard size and it fits our Mitsubishi Outlander(mid size SUV) perfectly. We've only used it a few times so far, but we're really happy with it. The fabric and stitching seem tough, but I suspect that the plastic clips won't last long with a seventy pound dog leaning forward on it. I was thinking I'd replace them with buckles if they do break. I was also kind of hoping it would keep our boy in the back seat, but he just climbs over. You can tighten the straps to make the front piece higher, but they seem to loosen over time. It did come with a complimentary dog seatbelt though, so that should work if he doesn't chew through it :P

I'm really impressed by this cover! I've bought other brands in the past but I find they crumble over time with the waterproof coating -- that isn't the case here! Super easy to clean by putting it in the washing machine. Comfy to sit on for both dog and person. My only complaint is that the velcro seat belt holes can be hard to get open when needed.

I ordered the smaller size and it fits perfectly in my Toyota Camry. Easy to install and easy to clean. A real bargain!
