A Story about Ducks: Jack Townend

‘A Story about Ducks’ follows a group of ducks who have become bored of their humdrum existence and so set off on a day’s jaunt out into the wider world. However, while a day filled with raspberry buns and fairground rides certainly sounds like a lot of fun, the ducks quickly discover that there really is no place like home. ‘A Story about Ducks’ is a wonderfully illustrated if surprisingly wordy picture book that will be enjoyed by parents and children alike. V&A Publishing have also recently republished Jack Townend’s excellent A Railway ABC, which would be another good buy for those who enjoyed this classic picture book.
