Dry Bike Chain Lube – Ceramic Dry-Film Lubricant – Dirt & Dust Resistant

I'm a big fan of Finish Line products and have used them extensively for decades. I use this Dry version on my mountain and touring bikes most of the year; they have a Wet version I use in winter and spring plus a road bike version I use on my road bikes. Things I like: long re-application intervals (typically several hundred miles), won't attract and hold dust and grit, won't wash off in the occasional creek crossing, good protection against rust, and most of all excellent lubricity that extends chain life for several thousand miles of hard riding. Thing I don't like: viscosity is a bit thin, especially in hot weather, making it hard to get just one or two drops on each link. I was glad to find the more economical 8 ounce size, although it took a couple of weeks to receive it after I placed my order. Tip: with all lubes I put a couple of small hex-head bolts in the bottle. Just pluck the drip-top with a pair of pliers, drop in the bolts, and put the top back in place. (Make sure it's fully seated.) These bolts help agitate the lube when you shake the bottle prior to application so that the Teflon and other goodies are present in every drop.

I've been using this stuff for about 6 or 7 years and absolutely love it. Teflon isn't exactly great for the environment but that's exactly why it's really great for your chain. I'm pretty sure this causes cancer in California so it's a good thing I live in upstate NY. I have had really good luck with this keeping my chain moving properly through every imaginable condition. My cassette and chain attract very minimal dust and grit with this. No matter what lube you get you're going to get some level of dirt that sticks and you'll have to wash your chain. I even throw some of this on my bike rack bolts to keep them moving properly. I'll never use anything else.

This is a very good lubricant, I recommend it.

This is a suspended was type lubricant that is easy and quick to apply. It is relatively low cost. It is not a high performance lubricant but I only use my bike for fitness (not racing) on paved roads and trails and this is good enough and better than most. It doesn't collect dirt very quickly like wet lubricants and it cleans off and reapplies without much hassle.

I like the idea of a dry lube for my trike chain. This will be a keeper when I run out. I’ll most likely buy another one thank you very much. L. J.

I used to use mostly general lubricants. So the chain would get dirty and it would get dirty. But this product lubricates the chain sufficiently, but it doesn't get dirty, so it's clean to use. I highly recommend this product from this trustworthy brand.

I've used this product for years and stand by it. I can't imagine anything out there that works better. It goes on as a watery liquid, but then quickly dries to a thin Teflon coating. And it renders a squeaky chain dead *silent,* instantly. Even better: One application lasts for hundreds of miles, in my experience. It can be a little tricky to aim the product during dispensing, so that it doesn't drip onto any non-chain components. But that's a minor nit. It's not cheap, but the bottle lasts a very long time, so it's well worth the money. Let me put it this way: Every time I use this product, it puts a smile on my face. I can't say that about many things I buy on Amazon.

This is my favorite lube. It lasts, at least in dry-ish weather. After application, after the lube has made its way into the pins, I usually clean the chain with a napkin. This leaves almost no residual on the chain (but it lasts), and the chain ends up so clean that people think I am using wax lube.

I haven't really got anything to compare this to. It works really well and doesn't fling off everywhere. I would recommend.
