I get really bad anxiety some nights living alone and always fear the worst as that’s what anxiety likes us to do. I have seen this product all over the internet and I finally caved and honestly I’m really glad i bought it. It was very easy to use, and even has two options on the metal plate for different types of door latches. I was worried at first because when I took it out of the box and first tried it my door didn’t shut all the way but then I just flipped the red lock around to the other side and the other hole worked perfectly. I even pulled the door pretty hard when it was unlocked and it didn’t budge at all. I wouldn’t fully rely on this as your ONLY form of protection for your house but it is definitely a great additive for security.

I bought this for my solo trips and to use it at home since I live with roomies and like to feel safe. It works at the hotels that I visited these past couple weeks but it doesn’t fit the lock at my house. That was a little disappointing. Still good for travel, lightweight and small size

I recently bought this portable door lock, and I was honestly super impressed when it arrived. I tested it out right away, and it was very strong, durable, and did exactly what it was supposed to do. It gives an extra sense of safety, and I did not even know these existed before, but they are amazing for traveling or staying out of state. I would definitely recommend having one because you never know when it will come in handy. The steel is solid, the design is well thought out, and nothing about it feels cheap. Even though it is small enough to fit in a purse, it is incredibly powerful and reliable. Overall, a great safety item to keep on hand.

Straightforward use and instructions. Easily packed when needed. Works best when there is a little room in the doorway, although it is manageable in snug areas. I haven't had anyone try to come in while it was installed, but it made me feel more secure in slowing maintenance down. They had a habit of knocking and entering too quickly while I was home asleep.

I love the idea of this contraption! And it worked on the door to my home. However, it didn’t work for the hotel room I bought it for. The deadbolt part of the lock was too big so I returned.

Shipping came with Prime. This portable door lock gives me more peace of mind. It is a simple device that easily installs on the door. The door is secure and hardly moves if someone is trying to get inside. The plastic and the metal looks and feels durable. It also came with a travel pouch. Good price.

Can the seller please contact me. I’ve tried emailing with no luck Just received this and it’s damaged. The chain is broken off the wedge to the metal claw. See photo. Please replace. I don’t know how you don’t check these things before sending it out. Very frustrating, especially since it’s over $35!
