Helps a lot of issues, not just weight loss
It's around 50 calories less than their regular food. Perfectly fine for my senior 9 yr old and my healthy 2 yr old as I follow the chart to my needs. My old dog's weight loss is steady and healthy, UTI's GONE. My young dog was on the regular Farmina until they secretly changed the formula (causing soft smelly matter and anal gland havoc), BOTH CURED. Any itches/rashes, obscene water drinking, eye/ear mucus, permanently GONE. It only comes in 5 or 15 lb bags and ordering from Farmina takes many weeks, not in stores here. Don't know what I'll do if this formula is ever tweaked with more chicken like their entire line of foods.

Perfect weight management food for pets
My Shih Tzu was gaining weight & just when I was hunting for a weight management diet food for her, I came across this Farmina food on Amazon, browsed the ingredients & read the reviews & bought it. My Shih Tzu had to lose 2 kgs & have been using this since 2 weeks, already she has lost 1 kg & I am happy about it. In another few days, hopefully she will lose another kg of her excess weight. Go for it if looking for a weight management diet for your pet. A bit expensive but worth it having the pet's health in mind.
