Absolute must have in snow/ice!
I moved to the mid west over 20 years ago. For the past 15 years, people have been telling me to purchase ice cleats. I never did. I can't tell you how many times I fell on the dang ice! Well, this year, I knew i would be walking more in the city, so I purchased a pair. They are easy to go on and take off your shoes/boots. It took a minute for me to feel comfortable in them and not feel like I would fall on the ice! 100% happy I finally bought a pair of ice cleats! I can walk slow, or fast, and feel confident that I will not slip or fall! Walking on dry pavement or concrete is not comfortable though. I feel like I am going to break the tips! This brand so far is very durable! I wear a size 9 bearclaw boot, and the Large fits perfectly. I also bought an XL because I thought the large wasn't the right fit, because when I walk, the position of the heel cleats are a little uncomfortable for me (I have planters fasciitis), but the XL would slide off on one of my boots--that being said, the material on the one was a little stretched out in the width. But, I kept them for a back up pair.

Trust me, these are BY FAR, SUPERIOR to the other brands
The anti-slip product I've been using for years, seem to have cut corners in quality. They were the Yeti brand with the bottoms looking like a bunch of coils wrapped around the rubber you stretch to secure them to your shoe or boot. I had just put a brand new pair on for the season and within 2 wearings the rubber holding it all together broke along the side making them useless. That and I've noticed the coils also cutting through the rubber piece that holds them in place, again, making the item useless to wear. So, I saw these and gave them a try. BOY WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! It INSTANTLY felt more secure on my feet while walking. The others tended to feel like your foot was rolling before the round coils would dig into the ice and snow. These didn't feel that way at all. Felt Like a cat's paw snagging or gripping the ice and snow. These are SO MUCH EASIER to stretch onto the boot / shoe bottom and the sizes are spot. I wear a size 7 womens boot the Medium fit perfectly. Husband wears a 91/2 and the Large was spot on for him. It gives you a SOLID feel while walking on bare concrete or decking too. No rolling or awkward feeling. There's NO sliding OR rolling feeling what so ever. The rubber that hold it together is hefty and thick in quality. I was so impressed with these, I bought 5 more more pairs for the rest of our boots. I will NEVER go back to the other brand. These are the ones you want to buy....PERIOD.

High Quality and they really work
These are GREAT! After a one inch sleet and freezing rain storm, our back yard became an ice skating rink. And with a new Puppy, I had no choice but to walk on it, slipping several times and having one hard fall. The Cleats arrived, and my whole world changed. I could walk anywhere on the ice and have 100% confidence that I would NOT slip. A fantastic product.

Winter Walks Made Safe: My Ice Traction Cleats Review
Wow, these ice cleats have been a real lifesaver this winter! Our dog park is pretty hilly and gets extremely slippery when covered in snow or ice. I've had more than one embarrassing (and painful) slip and fall there before I got these traction cleats. Since putting them on, I've had several close calls where I would have definitely fallen without them, but the cleats kept me steady on my feet. The cleats are made of what appears to be durable rubber with metal spikes that grip the ice and snow really well. They're surprisingly easy to put on over my regular shoes - just stretch them over the sole and secure them with the straps. I appreciate that they're one-size-fits-most with adjustable straps, so they work with my different pairs of winter boots and sneakers. What I love most is how they don't add too much bulk to my shoes. I was worried they might make walking awkward or uncomfortable, but I barely notice they're there. The spikes are positioned strategically to provide traction without interfering with my natural stride. They've held up well through multiple uses on snow, ice, and even some frozen mud. There are a couple of minor downsides, though. They can be a bit tricky to put on when wearing thicker winter gloves, and I've noticed some slush and snow can get trapped in the spikes and cleats, which then melts and makes my shoes wet when I go inside. Also, they're not ideal for walking on hard surfaces like pavement when there's no ice or snow, as the metal spikes can feel a bit uncomfortable and might wear down faster. For the price, though, these ice traction cleats offer excellent value. They've prevented several potential falls and injuries, which could have cost much more in medical bills. Plus, they give me the confidence to keep walking my dog even in the worst winter conditions, which is something I really value. If you're someone who needs to walk on icy or snowy surfaces regularly, especially on hilly terrain, I'd highly recommend giving these a try. They might just save you from a nasty slip and fall too! Hope this helps other winter walkers stay safe and steady!

Great
These are getting me through a snowy, icy winter up north. I've owned many versions of these over the years and this pair gets two thumbs up. I appreciate the extended tab at the heal to pull them up. Just make sure the spikes are centered on the bottom of your shoe or you'll be wobbly. I wore these inside the grocery store today - it's a blizzard outside. Nobody batted an eye over the "clink clink" sound the metal made. Lol One of them did fall off without my realizing it, so you have to check when you get in the door. Mine came off in the driveway. They seem to all do this once in a while. must not have been centered.

Buy it to store in your car! A+
I bought a couple pairs of these to keep in my car to have during the winter. Midwest winters usually have to deal with a lot of ice. I have had the opportunity to use it several times and it works just fine! It stretches enough to fit over regular work shoes size 13 and size 13 work boots too. One time wearing these on my way into work I watched as someone go down hard on the ice. I walked over and helped them stand up and helped them walk into the main building. They saw me walking on the sheet ice as if it were regular pavement and didn't think it was slick at all. Several people I know now have these in their cars. Worth every penny! I keep 2 pairs in my car!

Super happy with these!
Super happy with these! They are easy to put on and I was able to walk to the end of my gravel drive in the winter with thick ice and felt sure footed. Did not slip once. Bought these because I fell taking the garbage out a couple of times.

Spikes much smaller than pictured and most covered in rubber
The Spikes are much smaller than pictured which is disappointing! Most of them are covered in rubber which is a pain to cut off. Not sure if this is a manufacturing defect or what. Size XL is kind of small but they’re good and stretchy. Haven’t used them yet…
