Worth it!
They feel really nice and sound full and warm. I liked the Fender strings that came on my classic vibe 70s jazz bass and so those have been my go to, but these share top spot in my ranking of faves.

Excellent
Fantastic sound and feel from these strings. They were a noticeable upgrade from the strings my Sterling stingray came with. My only issue is that the .105 gets considerably floppy when tuning to drop D. I wish they sold a .110 set of these.

Works For Me...
I'll start this off, by saying, that I'm typically a D'Addario XL guy, for 25+ years. I have recently got a couple Warwicks, that use this gauge. (45-105) One of the basses had strings installed that were loose in the nut & didn't feel right on it, so, I figured I'd get some strings to fit the stock gauge. Looking here (Amazon), I ran across these for a good price, so I thought I'd give them a try. I had used Slinky's on my guitar, when I started out in the '80s. These are nickel wound, like the XL's I'm used to, so... To me, they are pretty much on par. I like nickel wounds & these are as good as the D'Addario strings I've used over the years. Kind of funny, the review asks how I rate the "thickness", since this was a purposeful order (by gauge). The thicker gauge, is a little more difficult for some things, as I vibrato a bit, w/ a wide vibrato on things that require it. That rings true though, for the original Warwick strings on my other Warwick. Overall, I'd recommend these, especially for the price. If this is the gauge you want & like nickel wound round, then these are a good quality string.

Least durable string I use but they do the job
Those are the least durable strings I use (I can only put 6 hours of playing, combined),. However they are cheap and can be changed more often so you get fresh strings at every gig. I love the custom gauge (45 - 105)

I apologise , Ernie Ball, your hyper slinky strings ROCK
recently turned in a negative post, About these hyper slinky strings, I was ready to take them off and buy different strings, but I thought I would try again to get the noise out, After spending a few more hours of adjustments, and going through every knob and switch on my GE, low and behold , I found the knob to get that string noise out. then my E string seem to over power all the others, after going through the process again, I toned it down, then I could barely hear my G, went through process again, bingo, never worked so hard to get the sound I like, but , there it is. the sound is better than I thought it could be, Like getting a new High end guitar, that was my favorite Bass, and I thought it sounded great, Well I was wrong, It sounds great now. every note is clean, I really don't have the words to express how great these strings sound, don't need a new guitar now. thank you.

So far, love them!
Is it my new Earnie Ball strings that make my bass now sound better than it ever has before? Or is is that I got a good friend to set up my bass properly and sort the action out etc? I suspect the latter has more to do with it, but she chose these strings for me (she uses these, too, and she knows more about what she is doing than me!), and all I can say is that my bass now rocks! Sound wise, it does sound better, I think, and that is likely the new strings. I can't comment yet on longevity or durability as they're still quite new. But so far, and for this price, very impressed.
