PUR is a great product
My wife purchased this exact filtered pitcher a few years ago, and has worked out very well and lasted a long time. I recently had a small accident after cleaning it out and attempting to change the filter where the inner blue portion fell from the dish drain above my since and fell into the sink, cracking in a few spots. I did not notice the cracks right away and simply just rinsed it off and put the new filter in and began using it. When I noticed bubbles floating up and water dripped through and not passing through the filter, I realized there were some thing cracks that formed and it was time for a replacement. The original pitcher was at least 3-4 years old and I lost track because I bulk purchased filters during Covid because they became harder to find and I had a stash in the home for over a year (filters on average should be changed approx every 3-4 months, but I found the name brand would clog and stop working much sooner than the recommended gal/monthly change rate. I spotted an off brand supply that seemed to work longer, were cheaper and offered more filters in the case, so I stocked up!) I honestly cannot drink the water from my faucet as it has a terrible taste and smell, and I grew up in the late 80's early 90's drinking from the sink, the hose in the backyard and water fountains in school - for me not to drink the water in my home these days, there is definitely something wrong. PUR filters kill the smell and bad taste and make drinking water a pleasure again. For someone who has diabetes and high blood pressure, drinking enough water daily became a hard task until my wife purchased our first pitcher. Knowing that this product works, and allows me to enjoy the taste of water again, I made sure to replace the old with this new one, and bought more filters, too! LOL! Best part, I can re-purpose the lower section without the blue insert and still put other drinkable substances in there if needed (add fruit and water as an example or possibly home made iced tea) and still dispense it from the fridge. For those that rely on the TL;DR type reviews, it's a great product, lasts long, works wonders in the filter department as well as easy to clean... just don't attempt to dry and hang from a high place, if it falls it will get damaged... otherwise, worth the money and cheaper than buying bottled water at the store that tastes just as awful as my sink water. Hope this review was helpful!

Don’t waste your money
After 10 day it will leak and leak water all over your floor and refrigerator. It crazy how you spend your money on something on here. After a week it breaks or something wrong with it.

Perfect Size and Great Water Filter
This is the best water filter I’ve used. The size is perfect and fits really well in my refrigerator. Since I started using it, I stopped spending money on bottled water every week, which has been great. The water tastes clean and fresh, and all I have to do is replace the filter when needed. It’s convenient, saves money, and works perfectly. I definitely recommend it.

Big Capacity, Tasty Water, Slightly Slow
We've been using the PUR 30‑cup water filter dispenser in our household for several weeks, and it's been a reliable addition—especially for large families or shared spaces. ✅ What I Love Massive 30‑cup capacity Holds an impressive volume, perfect for kitchens and offices—fills once and provides clean water all day Great taste & contaminant reduction The filter significantly reduces chlorine, lead, mercury, microplastics, and more—users consistently praise the crisp, clean flavor Slim, fridge-friendly design Thin profile fits neatly in most fridge doors and kitchen counters without taking up too much space Convenient dispensing Features a pull-down spout and fixed-handle spigot—no heavy lifting, and you can pour while it's still filtering Filter-life indicator Dishwasher-safe parts Most components are dishwasher-safe (except the base reservoir), making cleaning a breeze ⚠️ Things to Consider Slow filtration rate Gravity-fed filtering takes time—half a reservoir can take ~30 minutes, and a full one may exceed an hour. Best to refill proactively Basic design While functional, its utilitarian look may not match more decorative kitchen gear—though there's a Premium “Beautiful by PUR” version for aesthetics Tight lid can crack Some users reported crack issues during transit or use—inspect upon arrival and contact Amazon for a replacement if needed 📌 Bottom Line If you want large‑capacity filtered water, with excellent taste, easy pouring, and fridge-friendly design, the PUR 30‑cup dispenser delivers. Just remember to refill ahead of time since it filters slowly. With proper handling, it's a dependable, cost-effective alternative to bottled water—earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Great Water, But Watch That Lever!
The PUR 30-Cup Water Filter Dispenser is a lifesaver for my hydration game. It’s big, efficient, and keeps me sipping clean, filtered water all day long. But let’s just say it comes with one small caveat: the spigot lever. If you don’t make sure it’s all the way up, you might find yourself with a surprise puddle in your refrigerator—ask me how I know. When it works (which is most of the time), it’s fantastic. The water tastes crisp and clean, and the 30-cup capacity means fewer trips to refill. It’s also sleek and compact enough to fit in my fridge without hogging all the space, leaving plenty of room for leftovers and snacks. The spigot, though, has a mind of its own. If you’re not careful to push the lever all the way up after pouring, it will sneakily drip. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s something to watch out for unless you enjoy playing refrigerator lifeguard. The filter is easy to replace, and I appreciate the large capacity—it’s perfect for a family or a heavy water drinker like me. Just remember to double-check that spigot, and you’re golden. Bottom line: This dispenser is a solid buy for clean, fresh water, but it’s a bit of a diva when it comes to handling its lever. Four stars for great performance with a side of minor spigot drama.

Practical and easy to use!!
The pitcher is convenient, and the dispenser makes pouring water much easier without lifting it. The PUR filter improves the taste, and you can notice the difference from the first use. We use it daily, and so far, it has worked perfectly. Overall, it does its job well.

Leaks, abysmal product support from the manufacturer.
Ordered this model because my friend had the same unit while I had a Zero Water Filter with much lower capacity and higher replacement filter costs. The unit I received was slightly different from the model my friend had. The blue colored reservoir in my unit was much lighter in color, and the spigot looks a little different. I was away from the house for a weekend and returned to find the spigot had been dripping slowly leaving water all over the shelf in my refrigerator. The drip is fairly slow, but I have to wipe it up everyday. I reached out to the manufacturer directly to inquire about receiving a replacement spigot. Their solution is to have me send the defective unit to them, and only AFTER they complete testing on it will they consider sending me another. Terrible customer service for a product that can potentially cause serious damage to your refrigerator and groceries.

Way better than Brita
Water tastes amazing. Australian water is good but this is bottled level quality

Weak seal causing leak
After 4 months of use the leaver does not retract securely causing the rubber gasket not to seal the hole. I've tried to push the rubber gasket to create a tighter seal but once I open the lever it leaks again. It seems to be the leaver spring weaking not creating enough pressure. Dont waste your $$ as it's not fixable. Just get a Brita.

NO COMPRES ESTE PRODUCTO
No sirve y no filtra. Seguí todas las instrucciones y el agua no baja, pensé que era el filtro defectuoso pero al poner el segundo (siguiendo todas las instrucciones) nuevamente el agua no baja. Terrible es un pedazo de basura.

Broke after 9 month
Great little thing, until the tap gave way after 9 month. 2 hours of tinkering, and it was still dripping consistently. Very disspointed.
