3M Scotchgard Clear Paint Protection Bulk Film Roll 4-by-48-inches

We own a Chevy Volt electric car. Our HOV lane stickers were starting to peel off. This was the perfect solution to keep them on. Also, as added safety to keep them from getting stolen. HOV stickers are very expensive and a real pain to get replaced. My advice is as soon as you get the HOV stickers, put this protective coating over them. Also, put the stickers on the car paint, not on the plastic. This 3M product holds well on plastic, but the HOV stickers will peel off after a few years. There is enough on this roll to do all 4 stickers, plus and extra if you mess up for some reason. I used the extra to cover a delicate white decal on the back of my car, and it worked great for that too.

I used it on the front edge of the hood on my Jeep to protect the paint from ropes when I tie a kayak on the roof. Fairly easy to apply if you follow instructions at least on this small strip.

Looks like good material. Difficult to apply though without proper tool for clearing out bubbles. It's not as transparent but reasonable due to thickness = better protection.

Be careful separating the film from the backing. Hard to do without damage.

Excellent. I cut it into two 24 inch sections and installed it in the door sills of our car. I viewed several youtubes and just followed their advice. I cut a 1.00 inch radius on the exposed corners. Took me a longer to clean and prep the sills than to install the film. After I finished you can't see it and it looks very professional. I will get some more and do my trunk sill next. Get product and easy to work with.

I used this to wrap my mountain bike and protect the paint. Many crashes and rock nicks later, I'm so glad I did this!

Hopping the seller can clarify something….. what series 3M PPF is this and is it gloss or matte. Product looks as it should just looking to clarify before I replace pieces on an existing project.

I used this product to protect my car from scratches from my bike rack and it works very well. Went on easy and instructions are good. Only thing is you have to download the instructions. But no big deal.
