Perfect for 1.5" TC, weldless!
I wanted to use sanitary triple-clamp connections where possible in my recent conversion of my home brewing gear from gas to electric. These are very well made, and have the perfect thickness and density gaskets to properly seal on the curved face of a brew kettle without leaking. For reference, I'm using 16 gallon, 16" diameter SS brew pots. I have no trouble fitting a 3500w Dernord heating element through the port. Just ordered another one for my HLT!

Great bulkhead for adding 1.5" sanitary fittings.
Installed easily on my brew kettle. Drilled a 42mm hole clamped a 90 degree bend on the outside and tightened with a large crescent wrench. Leak free so far. the captured o ring design seems to work best for weldless fittings. Would buy again.

low quality, loose fitting
The threads are not cut to standards, The nut is loose on the ferrule. The lip on the ferrule is barely large enough to capture the gasket. Why is it so hard to buy quality brew fittings?
