Yes, get 3 LR33 batteries (pretty cheap here on Amazon), tweezers, and some assortment of glues. This was a great start for my first full miniature project and its so cute!TIPS: (On the blue one with the cats) Glue down the lights and test them before moving to the next steps I sprayed many of the paper pieces with matte spray to give them more body and less shine. I put shiny clear polish on the "wooden" floor to make it more realistic Cut what you need from the provided materials carefully as there is just enough for the project I couldn't figure out the whole cupcake thing, so I made my own

If you are wanting to build miniatures or a miniature scene, these little boxes are a great way to start. Fun and gratifying, and the results are just perfect. Be sure to have on hand a good craft glue (Tacky glue or Beacon 3-in-1 word), as well as craft tweezers to hold and place tiny items. Just ordered my second one of these.

Super fun project. Need steady hands because the pieces are so tiny, it takes precise placement. Would have given it 5 stars if instructions were a bit more clear, but if you look closely at the pics ans such, you can figure it out. It does not come with glue or batteries, but if you read description, it states can't send those items through mail because of mail regulations, so you can buy those fairly cheap separately. Would recommend for a more experienced person who has done several houses already. Had alot of fun putting this one together!

While I found myself challenged at many points, I had all items and adequate amounts of all the materials, I only really ran short on one type of green "foliage". The instructions can take careful study in places but are well done IMO. I had glue issues, micro parts I fought with to bend and fold and join properly, and mistakes were made. But the end result is still absolutely fabulous, and the recipient was pretty thrilled. And once you do one of these the 1:24 models will seem like you're working with chunky building blocks. ;-) I recommend highly and probably won't be able to resist doing another one.

Im still working on it but is a wonderful little project i wish they were a little specific on telling what type of tools you may need if you are not a crafter and the battery that u have purchased besides the minor issues is a beautiful piece!

No glue :( no batteries. I ordered the same box from other seller there was glue and batteries. Even price was the same.

My set had all the pieces, and the instructions are not that difficult to figure out. This is for patient people who like a bit of a challenge, in a teeny tiny scale. The design is very cute and leaves room for some creativity also. One tip: Place your buildings before setting the glue on the walls, to be sure they fit well against the box and touch the “ground” well. My patisserie came out a bit lopsided! Still love it — relaxing and a little sense of accomplishment.

I got three different designs as gifts for my nieces. Super cute. The instructions look clear and the presentation/box is nice for gifting. I had previously bought different ones (same product, same price. different sellers) but I returned them because those boxes had a gaudy design and chinese text that made them not look as nice for a gift. These boxes were not sealed so I was able to add craft glue and batteries to the kit. Would recommend.
