A little awkward to solder
A little awkward to solder being so small. Melted a couple before success

maybe the jack can handle 10A but the supplied wires absolutely can't
Solder some 18-16awg wires on if you want that, though I'm not sure I'd put 10A of current through a barrel jack anyway. Consider changing the wiring anyway though because the wires it comes with are good for maybe 2A at a push. I just bought these because I needed the female jacks quick even though they're 1/5th of the price on ali. The connectors themselves are good

Another set of cables/sockets
I'e bought a few different versions of these from various sellers on Amazon. THey're all pretty much the same and probably all some out of the same factory.They're reasonable quality for the price, I only used the sockets though as I use them panel mounted on custom designed enclosures.They're fit for purpose, but far from the best on the market, you get what you pay for and in this instance, it is fine for the application I used them for.

Connectors are good but cables are not
There are plenty of 2.1mm x 5.5mm plugs and sockets which are significantly cheaper. But these are the heavyweights and if you need the current-carrying ability, it is unlikely that you will find it in other similar products. They come pre-wired with pigtails which are likely to be helpful for the sockets, but the user will almost inevitably need to extend the cables for the plugs.However, while the plugs are claimed to be rated at 5A, which is believable, the connecting pigtails are - I estimate rated at probably closer to 1A. Even then, I am not fully convinced that they are solid copper but may be copper-plated steel or aluminium. The thinness of the cables makes them very difficult to use in a screw-terminal block (as opposed to soldering) and I have reverted to attaching a ferrule. Reflecting this, I have downgraded my rating significantly.
