Star Wars Black Series Lead Hero Battler Tan

Finn is one of the best figures in the Force Awakens line. The head sculpt and paint look like John Boyega. The sculpted details are really good looking. The jacket has good detail and paint on it as well. The jacket itself is a rubbery material that allows for more articulation. The body and legs are black as it appears in the movie. But the ankles have some tan-ish paint dry brushed on them to make it look like sand from Jakku. The blaster is good but lacking in paint apps. Just a couple of silver points on the tip and sight of it. It would have been great to have the rope like in the movie to put it over his shoulder, but it's okay. He scales well with the other Force Awakens figures I have. This is a very good figure and he is one of the cheapest figures to find in the Force Awakens line. I highly recommend this figure.

This first thing that you should know about this is that, it is a TOTAL peg-warmer. Even after months after it's release, it is too easy to find one of these. It HAS to be the most over-produced Black Series figures yet. This figure is very hard to appreciate if you haven't already seen the movie. Finn is a character that is known for his personality, not his costume. So unless you have seen that movie, you will only see this as "jacket man". A basic figure with a jacket should not be enough to impress you. Seeing the movie will help you appreciate this figure much more. As for this figure, there is not much to him at all. His face has a smirk and looks ALOT like John Boyega (the actor of Finn). There really isn't anything to complain about with this figure, Hasbro did a great job. This figure is so simple that it is underwhelming. He wears black with a resistance jacked, and that is all you will get with this figure as far as details, besides the minor weathering on his pants/shoes. His only accessory is a simple blaster rifle. This is nothing special, just a bronze piece of plastic with minor weathering and a silver painted barrel. The biggest thing to watch out for about this figure, is the horrible paint defects. Paint defects are so common with this figure, its ridiculous. Hasbro needs to work on their quality control in the paint department. I have went through two of these Finn figures. My first figure had a big black spot of paint across his face. Worst of all, part of the paint decal that was supposed to be on his hair stretched down to his forehead. Because of this common issue, I suggest making an attempt to get this at a local store. Not only will you be doing us a favor by cleansing this overstocked figure from the peg, but you will also be able to hand pick a figure with good paint. This would make a good toy for a child, it is marketed as a toy after all. Although it is likely that they will lose the gun accessory overtime. I hope I have helped you out. Here's Finn from The Force Awakens in his outfit while on Jakku. The head sculpt of John Boyega is pretty good, and the rest of the sculpt looks great as well with wrinkles and folds on his clothes. I like how they painted his feet and ankles with a sand effect, making it look like he's been running around the deserts of Jakku. The figure stands at 5.75" tall. Accessories: He only comes with a blaster rifle seen in some of the posters. He holds it well in either hand. It would have been nice if they included some other accessories or weapons though. Articulation: Swivel-hinged head, shoulders, biceps, and wrists; Ball-jointed torso; Hips hinge forward, backward, and outward; Swivel thighs; Double-hinged knees; Ankles have a hinge and rock. The hinge in his wrists are different on each side: the right side hinges forward and back, while the left side hinges side-to-side. Along with the ability for the elbows to bend 90 degrees, they work well for two-handed blaster poses. I wish the ankles could bend up more though. Overall, it's a nice figure of Finn in his Jakku outfit. He goes well with Rey and BB-8, as well as Chewbacca from this first wave of TFA Black Series figures.

The 6 inch Black Series line of Star Wars action figures while having minor faults have overall kept me very satisfied the past several years. Giving us great characters from various Star Wars films in pretty well detailed and mostly well articulated very nice action figures where as previously we were stuck with Star Wars figures with limited detail and articulation. Finn is no exception, in my opinion. He looks a lot like the actor and the overall details of his costume are great. He doesn't come with much in the way of accessories (one that would have been nice, and I don't think is a spoiler since it was even in some trailers....would have been a lightsaber) but that's not really all that needed and he does at least come with the gun he used some in the movie. Paint apps and sculpt are solid (with the exception of I think maybe the paint for the jacket is a bit too light), articulation is good (typical that you'd excpect from this line), likeness is nice. I can't really complain. Especially since I got him while he was on sale on here for about $13. I'm more into other characters like Darth Vader, Boba Fett, etc that are more classic and perhaps have a bit more to add as far as being an exciting/"cool" action figure, but overall I really enjoy this Finn figure. No real serious complaints on this one other than it just doesn't pop as one of the more exciting ones on the shelf, but it's a great representation of the character and is done pretty much exactly how it needed to be. If you're a collection completist, a big Force Awakens fan or a big Finn fan, pick it up! There's also a Finn in Storm Trooper gear figure out as well if you want an alternative or additional one to this one!

The quality of the product is good but it came in a package that was badly damaged. Unlike many other Black series toys, this one barely has any accessories.

Kann meinem Vorredner nur zustimmen. Beim Erhalt meiner Figur stellte ich ebenso einen sehr unzumutbaren Zustand fest - und das bei einem Artikel der als NEU verkauft wird. Die Figur an sich war okay.

We bought Finn for our grandson who is six. He likes it and plays with it and other Star Wars characters. Size and sturdiness are very good.

Falsely advised the sales post say it's a 6 inch figure it not it's a 3.5 figure do not be conned like I was

Una figura muy bien hecha, especialmente la segunda versión, la que trae la pintura mate. Esperé mucho para comprarlo, y encontrar la versión que quiera y a un gran precio me tiene muy contento. Ya tengo a todos los héroes de TFA y solo me falta Hux para los villanos.
