New Girl: The Complete Fourth Season

Love this show! The casting was superb and the stories very watchable multiple times. I honestly can't pick a favourite character.

Four seasons in this remains one of my favorite shows. Season finale was one of my favorite episodes of all time. For some reason the disk one didn't work in the first set I received. I was quickly sent a new set to replace it.

I am (pleasantly) surprised that 'New Girl' managed to survive for 7 seasons. While it does show a few sitcom cliches once and a while, for the most part this is a show from a different planet. Although a bit crass at times, the best parts of 'New Girl' tend to shine through in every episode: irreverent humor, good cast chemistry, a touching emotional undercurrent, and a heck of a lot of fun. Great cast, too, led by Zooey Deschanel and Jake Johnson. It's awesome that the studio has made DVD sets available for all 7 seasons. Get 'em all and binge watch 'til your head hurts!

Just to give everyone a heads up, as of writing this review this is only being made on demand. That means you'll get a copy of season 4 burned onto 3 discs when ordered. It sucks that not enough people bought the other 3 seasons that they have to do this, but at least they are putting it out in some format. I've bought other shows before just to have them stop producing DVDs in the middle of seasons and I've ended up never having a way to finish them because they weren't available on streaming either. This is available on streaming at the time of me writing this, but if you're like me and like to continue to collect seasons if you've already started buying them then this isn't a bad deal at all. If the copy you order is like mine it'll be issued in a black case instead of a clear one like the previous seasons and the DVDs will have a basic design with just the information on them. There will be cover art on the outside and the episodes will be listed on the back along with some pictures instead of inside like previous releases. The quality of the actual show is great though. I don't notice a difference between these episodes and the ones on the first 3 season's discs. Overall, definitely worth buying if you don't mind MOD products.

This is a must have for any true fan of New Girl, or even if you don't follow the show, & just want to feel warm and fuzzy with a few good laughs. Such a great cast playing fantastic characters you'd wanna hangout with. If you're single OR in a relationship, order a pizza to be delivered & kickback and watch some New Girl Season 4 :).
