Surprising quality for price tag...
The sight arrived on time and I was very impressed with the initial quality during unboxing, especially for the price.Looks and feels like a sight that could sell for two or three times as much. The mount is attractive and rock solid once all the screws are fastened down down during installation, which only took a couple minutes. The dot isn't as crisp as much more expensive sights out there, and has a tendency to starburst in the higher settings while in low light but it's more then adaquate and everything you could want from a sight in this price range.Easily zeroed in at home with a laser boresighter, although I have yet to go to the range for an actual zeroing.Without having tested it out with live fire,I can only give it 4 stars but If it truelly zeros out and maintains it through the recoil of 5.56/.223 then it will be a solid 5.So far it's been well worth the money and if it performs well at the range I'll be recommending it to all my friends. *Update* Took it to the range today and it was spot on at 25 yards with only using the laser bore sighter to zero it.The dots in both red or green were best at the lowest setting in an indoor range. After I fired a 100 rounds of .223 and 50 5.56,I reinserted the bore sighter to check the zero and it remained solid.I'll check again after a few hundred more rounds.Overall this is an amazing red dot for the price and the best I've seen in it's prince range.Would definitely reccomend to anybody looking for an inexpensive sight that looks good and performs as it should.

Great customer service AMAZING Value - as good as red dots twice the price!
Outstanding customer service! This is an amazing product for the money! It is very solidly built that does not feel cheap or flimsy, the included covers are spring-loaded flip up very nice. Amount that it comes with is excellent as well and is just surprisingly good for the very affordable price. This is the third item I purchased from Ozark Armament and I have found all of their products to be very very good value for the money. Easily as high quality as products that cost two and three times as much. I also have their bipod which is wonderful as well as some pop up sights. All have been incredibly easy to install and function very well. The only thing I've noticed with this red. Is that my battery died in about 72 hours. But that may have been because my friend left it on and it was constantly use or maybe it was just the battery. The fit and finish or very nice when I can find no issues whatsoever both the red and green dots are highly visible and there's a selection of sizes based on distance. I use this red dot at 25 50 and 100 yards with very little adjustment needed maybe one click each Direction. Co Witnesses with my Diamond Head sights perfectly.

Amazing budget Red/Green dot scope!
This was almost a 5 star overall rating. The scope itself is well made and sturdy. Received very quickly. Then a hiccup. The two main reasons i went for this Red/Green dot was A) price, excellent price. B) It stated in the description it would mount to Weaver Rail system. Well.....it did not. The cross bolt would simply not sit down between the vanes of my Weaver Rail. I emailed Ozark and received a reply from Bobby Cates (the OWNER). Bobby was absolutely awesome!! He suggested a couple quick fixes that didn't work unfortunately, and he quickly sent me a new mount which i again received within only a few days. Sadly, it was identical to the first mount and would still not sit down flush. The bottom line, and the ONLY reason this is not a 5 star rating (6 if they offered it) is I had to modify the rail on my weapon for it to fit properly. Filing the side of the vane to increase the gap worked just fine. I wanted to wait till I went to the range for sight in and shoot time to do this review, which I did today. After sighting in, this hit center mass every.....single.....shot. Did not lose zero, did not loosen (I had to use a ratchet and socket to tighten as the little allen wrench did not torque enough). I put over 150 rnds in it today (short day lol) and my wife decided to try it.....center mass. My son wanted to try it.....center mass. I was able to keep the dot brightness on the second lowest setting and was able to see it perfectly in the Arizona sun! For the record, I mounted this to a brand new, never fired Hi Point 4595 TS Carbine......and topped with this Red/Green dot scope......color me IMPRESSED!!!!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this item AND THIS SELLER!!!!! Product is great but Bobby made this even better!!!

Great optic
This is my second one of these optics. I have one on a AR and now a shotgun. They both were easy to install and sight in. The price point was great for an optic of this caliber. So far no issues with either set-up. Quality seems to be on par with more expensive optics. Highly recommended

If itโs blurry, check your eyes for astigmatism
This red dot sight is built solid and co-witnesses perfectly on my S&W MP-15 Sport 2. Let me first state that this is my first time ever using a red dot sight. During my first magazine, the sight did become a bit loose, but did not fall off. However, the range officer I was with quickly remedied this by using a little bit of locktite. The range officer used his bore sight to get me started, and in less than 15 shots, I was zeroed in at 75 yards. Let me provide some very useful information that I wish I had known before I purchased any red dot sight. I have slight astigmatism and therefore I see three small dots that are very close together. This does not keep me from acquiring a target and keeping good grouping. I am OCD, so I performed hours of research, across multiple sites and in many forums. I have found that many people have issues with any red dot sight, regardless of brand and price range. So, purchasing a more expensive red dot sight may not be the answer. Many people even found out that they had astigmatism in the first place, due to clarity issues they had with red dot sights. I stumbled across a very useful video that shows a very quick and easy way to verify if astigmatism is the cause of the lack of crispness. Remove the sight from your rifle, turn it on and hold the sight in your hand. While looking at the red dot, slowly rotate the sight and pay attention to see if any blemishes or blurriness you are seeing stays at the same point during rotation. Another method I performed was to take my cell phone and take pictures of the red and green dot through my sight in all brightness settings. Sure enough, the pictures show a clear dot. There are a few options you have if your astigmatism, and the red dot really bothers you. 1) Get an eye exam. This should be done every 1-2 years regardless. Request to be tested for astigmatism. 2) Purchase a prism red dot sight. The prism feature will help correct the way your eye perceives the dot. 3) if you have BUIS, pop up the back sight and look at the red dot using the smallest peep. This will correct the red dot issues caused by astigmatism. Regardless, If you have astigmatism then you will have to deal with that across any red dots. By โsettlingโ on a red dot sight that โappearsโ to be the most tolerable for you, does not reach the goal of being completely satisfied. Even though I have astigmatism, thus to my eyes the red dot is not completely crisp, I still have no issues using this red dot and getting great shots in. I have zero regrets in purchasing the Ozark Rhino red dot sight.

Your Mileage May Vary
Package arrived last week. First impressions--package does not look professional; optic was wrapped in bubble wrap with a simple rubber band around it. I worried that I may have received a refurb device and not new. Mounted optic to my 150lb-draw crossbow with Picatinny rails. Even tightened down hard, optic had a slight movement for some reason--as I looked through the optic and gently pushed the side, I could see the dot moving significantly at distant objects. Not good. The dot: torn a little bit here. The brightness on both the red and green dots is good at both low and high settings. Red dot is a perfect circle at all brightnesses. Green dot is the blob with spikes out of it that many reviewers have mentioned--not a big deal if you just want a quick-shoot, but not at all good for precision long-distance shooting. Zeroing: initially was shooting about 2 feet to the right at 50 yards on the crossbow. May have been more bow than optic. Adjusted left and just slightly up and eventually got it on target and it's staying consistently in the inner ring now. Debating whether I want to send it back or not and roll the dice on another brand. I eventually was able to remove the wiggle with a small piece of cardboard between optic and rail. I'm only using the red dot and not the green dot. Overall assessment: Just okay, but not bad for $50. It's not a Trijicon or other high-end optic. You may have a different experience depending on your rail setup. Would be great if the company could get their dots consistently correct.

Excellent scope, great value, fantastic company!!!
Bottom line: I would put this on a rifle that I'd use for self defense. The design is good, the quality and finish are excellent and it's fairly light. It has no unnecessary magnification so you have 100% field of view- critical for quick shooting. The glass is clear and the dot (red or green) is "right there, right now". 5 brightness adjustments is probably just about right- very bright on 5. The brightness adjustment detents are positive but still easy to use. The included flip up caps are quick and fit well. The mount is solid and allows the iron sights to be used "back up" in case of battery failure. (I guess the term is "co-witness"....). The point is this: when mounted on the Picatinny rail of a S&W M&P15 it is at the same (correct!) height as the shooter would be using the iron sights. In fairness to prospective buyers, I have yet to permanently mount the scope and take it to the range, so I can't give it a full review. It will go on an AR-15 or maybe one one of my Mini-14's. It came highly recommended by a friend with an AR-15 with a "Bumpfire" stock. He says it holds zero well, even on "full auto". I can't see the relatively light recoil of the 5.56 being a problem. I can' t wait to try this scope out; at this point I'm very impressed. I will update if I have any problems or issues. You could pay a whole bunch more for some other "name brand" scopes but I wouldn't. Ozark Mountain has customer service that is second to none, based on my personal experience. That's hard to beat! One more thing: IMO, a dot is all you need or want in a scope for this TACTICAL purpose. Multiple other reticles are just waiting to break or cause other problems.

Good quality product ,works great o my ruger 9mm
Only thing is I dislike is I find it mounts a little higher than I would like other than that it is easy to adjust and is very accurate to 75 yards ,probably further than that but that is the max for my eyes without magnification
