My intentions were to be able to carry a knife under my work pants, so as not to alarm anyone. I used to carry a folding knife that clipped on my pocket. (I was just raised to believe that a man never left the house without his wallet, watch, hanky, and a knife). My employer had no issues with me having a knife, but worried that our patrons might be alarmed. Since the uniform pants are thin and light weight it was impossible to hide the folder. Too bad the knife holder and my knife sheath were too thick for it to meet my needs, and easily showed under my scrubs. With all that being said, the holder is quite nice and very comfortable to wear. It fits the SOG M14-K Mini Pentagon and sheath very well. I'm sure it would be perfect for its intended use. A small amount of movement if it is not tightened properly but the product will stay in place. Concern #3 Will adding that much Neoprene to one leg be comfortable. Yes it is. I honestly don’t even feel it there. Keep in mind I keep the knife on the inside of my leg. Less prone to getting tangled.
