The design is simple but clever—just slip the hanger over a shelf and slide the pistol barrel onto the vinyl-coated rod. The coating is smooth, so it doesn’t scratch finishes, and the hangers are sturdy enough to hold full-size pistols without bending. What I really like is how much space they free up. Instead of laying handguns flat and stacking them, the hangers keep them upright and neatly aligned. This not only makes the safe look more organized but also makes it faster to grab the firearm I’m looking for. The fact that they fit .22 caliber and up makes them pretty versatile, covering most pistols in my collection. A couple of things to note: the shelf needs to be strong enough to support the added weight if you’re hanging several pistols, and the shelf thickness should match the hanger design. Also, if you have very short-barreled pistols, they may not hang as securely as larger ones. Bottom line: A simple, well-made, and effective way to maximize space and keep handguns easily accessible inside a safe. Great value for anyone looking to organize their collection. Review: Perfect for semi-autos, revolvers within reason - These hangers are a huge space saver, I would have been out of room a year ago without them! They have a nice rubber coating to avoid damaging your barrel. Obviously I am still extra careful when hanging them, nonetheless. The hangers do have their limitations but you’ll be surprised at how high the limit is. My 6.5” .357 Blackhawk is good to go, no sagging. So most medium revolvers will hang just fine. But these really come into their own on semi-auto pistols. No issues with a full sized, loaded .45 and all smaller calibers are great too, right out of the box. That is, with the exception of the .22LR. To hang the .22, I did have to bend the rod it hangs from straight. Reason being, the diameter of the rod is just so close to the 22 that there is no leeway and putting the pistol in any direction other than totally straight is not gonna work. No big deal at all, because once altered it’s perfect. ## Features - HAND GUN HOLDER HANGER - The original gun safe pistol hanger for handguns and pistols is essential for any gun cabinet.
