AWESOME BOOTS!
I had a pair of these boots a couple of years ago- before I gained so much weight and I LOVED them! They were my "go to" shoe for Sundays and for dressy occasions. I have always been extremely hard on shoes, but these babies lasted me a good year and a half until the heel came off. I was devastated. The leather held up amazingly and still looked good even at the end of the run, and I felt I had got my money's worth. I have slowly - but surely started to get my weight back under control. I thought maybe I had lost enough I could slip into the largest size they offer, but alas, I was sickened when I discovered they were too tight, So, unfortunately, I still have a bit to go yet. At the moment, I'm kind of stuck having to wear clunky chunky shoes now, and they aren't fun to look at as they make my legs look short, fat, and stumpy. The lines of this boot are very striking and are very successful at slenderizing and elongated the leg for a more tapered appearance. Even though I could go up a size, and it would fit fine, I decided to return the ones I ordered and wait till I drop some more weight, but I MOST DEFINITELY will be back. I LOVE these boots! I'm looking forward to the day I can wear them again!

Great boot!
I went to a couple of local boot/shoe stores to find a dress boot that would also add a little height since my wife is a just a tad taller than me. But the problem was that no one had a boot my size in a wide width. I took a gamble on this boot because they had my size, but you can never tell if they will truly fit until you try them on. I received them two days later and amazingly, they fit just perfect! I was not only pleasantly surprised, but genuinely please with how they felt; very soft and pliable. I couldn't have found a better boot than this one; great fit and provided the wanted height I was looking for in the first place. I'm guessing it added about 2 inches. So . . I'm please and so is my wife. And that's what really matter! If I did have to find a con I'm thinking the sole could be a little thicker as it is quite thin. Other than that, I think the boot is perfect for anyone looking for a solid-looking, yet soft and pliable classy-looking dress boot.

Very nice boots
As a musician, my feet are often around eye-level with the audience on most stages. So I have always been conscious of that, and needed some nice boots for performance. The narrow toe also makes a big difference for me, as it makes it easier when selecting buttons on my floor pedals, some of which are quite close together. These types of boots normally aren't very comfortable to me any more with my very flat feet and ankle issues that have arisen over the last few years. I didn't think I would ever wear these beyond a couple hours on stage, but I have. I do my best to avoid walking very much or very far in them, but they are pretty comfortable when I do. As I mentioned, I have very flat feet, causing my feet to flatten out in width, and the length is 11. The 11W size fit me perfectly. UPDATE 3/20/17: I added a photo of three years worth of wear as part of a comment response. In short, they have held up great. Check out the comments for more details. I would get another pair if I had to in a second, but these are going strong.

The search has ended!
This has always been my favorite style of dress boot since you-know-who popularized them in 1964 - been looking for a pair since I first saw them in a small local shoe store about 20 years ago (and for some unexplained reason didn't buy them at the time). Fit is pretty true to size - I wear heavy cotton socks and they're quite comfortable - and they seem to have gotten the message about iffy quality, since the leather in the current batch is somewhat more substantial than the paper-thin uppers in the photo (I'm the grandson of a shoemaker, so I'm pretty good at spotting these things). Sole is thin but hey, it's a dress boot - use an insole if you need more cushioning, and don't wear them in the snow - and although some other purchasers have had issues with the heels they seem solid enough for their intended use as dress/dancing/stage footwear. Great alternative to the $200+ imports if you're after the early Beatle vibe, BTW - I've seen a couple of full-time tribute bands using them, and they're the perfect compliment to my " '62 Cavern Club" outfit for when my own band does its annual Beatles tribute. Giving it a 4 for now - waiting to see how the long-term wear situation plays out.

Well made and the exact style I was looking for. The price was right too.
I bought these as a gift and he liked them. He's been wearing the same style Italian boot for 40 years. The boot is well made and comfortable to wear. The sizing is true, and the heel style was exactly what I was looking for. . The leather sole is a bit thin and wears out. It could also be that he wears them daily. But you can have them resoled. The price on Amazon was good so I bought two pairs.

I FEEL LIKE THAT BEACH!
LISTEN! THESE SHOES ARE EVERYTHING!!! I'm a tall btich, and not only do these shoes give me a little extra height with the cute heel, and not only do I click-clack on a few tiled floors, but it completes any of my outfits so well! I MUST get another black pair (so I can have one just for walking around all the time), and another in brown. Side notes, they're quite stiff the first time you get them on. So you'll have to walk around quite a bit to break them in. Also, I wear only dress sock in these so far, but because I currently use my only pair as dress/professional shoes. With wool socks, they may be a little snug (until you break them in, I'm sure). Thank you Giorgio Bruntini for making fabulous, well-made, and high quality shoes in my size, and (relatively) cheaply too!!!!

Too big AND too small, inconsistent quality
FIT - Reading the reviews for these boots confused me...some folks say the fit is "too big", some "too small"...and Amazon says 71% of the customers rate the fit "as expected". Because of the pointed toe, I ordered the 10 1/2 M (usually wear a 10 or 10 1/2, B or C), and found these boots to simultaneously be too big in the heel and too narrow in the middle across the widest point of the foot. Also, the "usable" length is too short because the toe is so narrow, (even though the shoes are a bit longer overall than some other 10 1/2 shoes I own). Another problem with the heel is that, in addition to being too wide, the point at which the top of the shoe turns up to the shaft is almost 1 1/2 inches forward of the point where my somewhat similar Florsheim boots turn upward. This results in a very large shaft, which allows the foot to move forward quite a bit, and that exacerbates the problem with the wide heel and narrow toe. (Unless you have a very thick ankle, you will likely find that your foot moves around inside the boots more than is desirable, so it doesn't feel very secure or stable.) In summary, this boot seems to be designed for someone whose foot is wide at the heel, narrow in the middle, even narrower in the toe, and who has a very large lower leg and ankle...and that was not me. QUALITY - Styling/design is nice - looked even better in-person than in the pictures. I would rate the boots as "well-made" - construction quality seemed solid, and the leather was very nice (more of a soft kid-leather, and actually better than I expected from the photos), but the QC was not good...the right boot came with a large area with some type of very noticeable white discoloration in the leather finish that would not rub off (similar problems were mentioned in some of the other reviews.) SUMMARY - Overall, I give this product a very mixed rating - if it fits your foot and you get a pair without defects, it would be a bargain. Although I'm a little disappointed that the boots didn't work out, thanks to Amazon's easy return with free shipping to me and for the return, the experience didn't cost me anything.

An Excellent Purchase
This is my second Giorgio Brutini boot, the first one lasted for several years & had to be retired from wear & tear. Based on the satisfaction I enjoyed with the first Giorgio Brutini boot (which wasnโt a dress boot) that included (1) very good compliments I received; (2) value for money gained; (3) comfort; (4) style; (5) durability; and (6) it just made me look so striking handsome & sexy; I decided to buy 2 more. This my new Giorgio Brutini dress boot did not disappoint either, in fact it added more elegance & style to my swagger. Its sleek slender design with the perfectly shaped toe tip & 2 inch Cuban heel hugged my feet with cushiony comfort, which is very important to me, as I have very handsome feet with succulent toes. As a result of my satisfactory experiences with Giorgio Brutini boots, I again tried to buy more but in different colours. Sadly the colours I wanted were not available in my size. One big negative point on the Giorgio Brutini boots that I have discovered is an inconsistency with the size. My first Giorggio Brutini boot was 10M that fit perfectly. My second boot (this one) is size 11M which also fits perfectly, & my third boot is also 11M which is slightly bigger than my feet. Its very inconvenient & time consuming to make several returns in order to get a .size that fits well. Despite this however I will continue to buy Giorgio Brutini dress boots.

I really like these shoes
I really like these shoes. They are very comfortable the material is of good quality. I bought two pairs, one black and the other brown. The price is reasonable for the quality of the product. I would like to buy a third one, cognac, but the price for this one is very expensive for my budget.
