(which this version does have) I eventually bought the orginal black on black metal band Vestal Canteen watch for him and it was not as bad as anticipated. Lesson learned. Lucky nephew.This watch version has a nylon band. I only use stainless steel, nylon, or rubber as in Casio's G-Shock line. Leather gets weird like a petri dish no matter the quality. ugh. It came with no warranty or paperwork and said we could download the manual but when we went online to do that it wasn't there. It did say online that if that the watch didn't work to contact the manufacturer instead of returning it so we did that, twice, and got no response and it has been a week since we sent the first email. This watch is going back.
