My boyfriend and I eat these all the time, any of the flavors are good, especially the onion butter. Easy side dish and super tasty.

These are pretty tasty, the rice cakes are nice and chewy and the sauce is the perfect consistency. My only complaint is it is a tad spicy, spicier than any jjajang I’ve had before. So if you don’t have any tolerance to spice I would avoid it. I do like it though. And it’s very filling.

I don't really have any complaints about this product except for the fact there's not more. The recommended amount of water on the package yields a thick and kind of sticky sauce on the rice cakes/"noodles". I added just a little more water for a bit of a thinner sauce that still clung to the "noodles". If you've never eaten the kind of rice cakes you find in tteokbokki, they've got a bit of a chewy noodle kind of texture. Softer than a Tootsie roll, but slightly chewier than a pasta noodle. They're super tasty. The "spicy factor" on a scale of 1 to 10 for me is probably about a 4. It's not terribly spicy but it does have a bit of a kick. That being said, I like spicy food and have a pretty high tolerance for spicy things. The seasoning/sauce is pretty mild. It'll clear your sinuses but it won't set your mouth on fire, if that makes sense.

I gave it a try, not my style

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I thought this tteokbokki so good. I'm sure it's not as good as homemade, but for being pre-packaged, I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor. It is easy to prepare and has instructions in English. The taste is savory and a little spicy. My only negative is that it's kind of pricey,but you do get a portion that I think is big enough for two.

Tastes good. For sure not on the same level as paldo brand sauce for black bean, but it is good nonetheless. There is actually more sauce than I expected, and I used about 120ml of water instead of 100. It would be good with some stir fried onion and cabbage to make a healthier meal out of it. I would buy again. Oh, but to some folks it is a little spicy so if you are sensitive to heat maybe not your choice.

We just love the texture and the flavor. It’s really good. And it does get spicy.
