These switches are VERY well built, I was amazed at its quality, considering that it sells for only about $20 (especially during current inflation). The E-stop switch is metal, feels very sturdy and it has operates very nicely/smoothly. I had to unfortunately return them because I was going to use these for a commercial automation project and the client wanted something bigger. These switches and mainly the box are quite small. The switch size itself really would be fine, they only need to make the box a bit bigger so that a user could put yellow "EMERGENCY STOP" decal around it. As they are sold right now, there is not much space to put any decal around the switch. In our commercial projects, there is always a safety requirement to put yellow decal around the red Estop switch. I would definitely buy these again for any personal projects or to use within our lab.

I got 2 of these, one that I just randomly stick on things at work, works great for that, and another that I actually used on a real project, I made a lift remote for at work so I don't have to walk around the vehicle all the time to raise and lower it. I didn't end up using the little connector plug thing it came with, I unplugged that and soldered right to the pins. I also did not use the box it came in, I moved it into a different box. It works very well for the purpose. I might actually use the box it came with for a different project. The pigtail is pretty much made for these buttons though so I don't think I will use that for anything.

I am a machine builder (In this case a laser cutter/etcher) and always look for the best parts, no matter how small or significant to the overall operation. That being said this very well made and finished metal switch was an excellent buy over the dime a dozen cheap looking/feeling plastic units. The over all build of these units are heavy and very robust with a very satisfying action and click to it's function. Best emergency stop switch I've seen yet! Exceptional switch and great seller that had it shipped to me quick even through the Covid shutdown that has hindered many others.

This switch works very well. But the plastics box has a very pungent plastics smell. It is not a deal breaker, but I would rather pay a little extra for a better plastic box that does not smell.

This switch appears to have a high build quality and works well. The price is very reasonable as well! Keep in mind, if you’re mounting it in an aluminum panel you will need to be certain that the stainless steel switch housing doesn’t directly contact the aluminum as this would result in corrosion from galvanic action between the two dissimilar metals. This is not a concern when mounting in a regular steel panel.

These are absolutely gorgeous: anodized aluminum buttons with a satisfying "clunk" when they're hit. Really pleased I went with these for the workshop. Remember, these are low-voltage only; if you're going to control mains power for big machines, you'll want these things to power a classic or solid-state relay or some other cut-out, rather than trying to pipe mains power through them.

First one had button shaft bent so the mushroom would seat on an angle (not sure how they did this). Second one was fine. Beware the push resistance on these is low so if you just graze it with your body it will activate. Also these are only single pole, either NC or NO so not the best option for ESTOP where you would want 2 NC contacts (one for contractor coil power and one for ESTOP condition to controller).

Great product all aluminum head with a nice plastic body it comes with a wiring harness to make connections neat and easy. The push button is sturdy and is nice and compact. It looks really nice too.

Very well made, easy to install. It simply works.

If you care, its got a much better feel and build quality than the all plastic ones.
