Excellent hotpad. Flexible and safe to use.
I bought this because it was recommended by America's Test Kitchen. And they are right, this is an excellent hot pad. It is flexible, and heat does not permeate through to your hand. It is durable, just the right size and thickness, and machine washable.

Easy to use and safe from hot handles.

Easy to use
Perfect size for adult hand. Excellent insulation. Grips well and doesn't slip. More flexible than a silicone pad. Neoprene can be wiped clean with damp cloth.

Works as expected
This had a weird smell when it arrived that was hard to get out, but it performs well and blocks heat. It is a big larger than the average pot holder which is great for people with larger hands.

It Just Plain Works and I Love It
After reading a cook's Illustrated test & review of potholders I promptly ordered their top two picks. This potholder was #2. I MUCH prefer this one to the top finisher. Realizing that everyone will have personal preferences for how they cook and what cookware they use, this is a very subjective opinion. But here is what makes this product ENJOYABLE to use. 1) It feels good in the hand - easy to grab and put to use, no fumbling to get in position to optimize 2) It is a sure and easy grip - when you make contact with our cookware you are not second guessing yourself. I feel confident in this potholder and have from the first time I used it 3) Cleanability!!! Can't beat this one. Just rinse it off, dab, and it's dry and back in the drawer. It is now hard to want to use any of the existing potholders in the drawer.

Best. Hotpad. Ever.
I can't say enough about how much I love these hotpads. Just bought a second pair so I can have 2 in a drawer next to the cooktop and 2 more in the drawer next to the oven. Very heat resistant (best ever!) and "grippy" in a good way. Highly recommend.

Buy these!!
I can't say enough good things about these! They are costly but well worth it! Small enough for my hands and not bulky. They rinse clean.

Everthing you want in a potholder
It insulates the heat better than any other glove or potholder on the market. It cleans with a bit of soap and water and dries quickly. It seems exceptionally durable. There are two sizes. One is smaller than a normal potholder and one is larger. You probably want both. If you are used to the common potholder size you may find this a bit strange at first, but when you use it a bit you will find the small one doesn't get in the way as much and the large one is great for large things. It it a tiny bit stiffer than a normal potholder, because it is better insulated, But it still bends easily. I don't find myself running to put down a baking dish that is straight from the oven because the pot holder is getting very hot and I had better put that dish down or I will be burned. Even silicon and Kevlar gloves are not as good.
