The hilt is metal and the blade is steel so it's looks and feels pretty real, the swors is a bit short though doesn't exactly feel full size

Yes. We hung the plaque on the wall as a place to store the sword, but you can take it off the plaque very easily. It's just resting on two pegs.

Not cleaned up enough

It came very quickly. The packaging was great but you could still clearly see the hot glue residue around the red beads. I had to go through and scrape all of it off. And polish the sword because it had a lot of finger prints and smudges on it. For spending $60 I was hoping it would have looked cleaner.

You get what you pay for - Halloween Prop

I had a gift card, so I thought, why not splurge on something whimsical? My opinion of this sword: meh. The blade may be stainless; but the hilt is pot metal, and painted, and chipped. The name "Godric Gryffindor" is not on the blade (but it is not on the photo, either). The display plaque is chipped also, and DIY, and the screws to attach the hanging posts are missing. Overall, $40 basically got me a metal Halloween prop sword, which I suppose is exactly what I paid for.

Child Sword

Its a decent sword but not for this price. Its way smaller then I had imagined, defiantly intended for a child although I would not give my child a sharp object. Also the hilt is attached poorly and if you wiggle the sword it just feels cheap; not solid. I know its intended just for show but I have purchased other steel swords for cheaper that were built better. I would not recommend this purchase at this price to a friend.
