With a good strong 1/4" wire rope pulley at bottom, buy a cheep in/out winch with hardwired up-down switch, some come with remote. buy a winch mount plate to sit on 2" receiver, may need extension to get winch at least 6" from pulley thread wire rope through pulley by removing bolt and up to top bolt use existing bolt with a spacer on each side of wire rope hook to keep in center. Will lift about 500lbs and two way switch will allow controlled free fall down. Wire winch to battery. Careful with winch wire only moves about a foot. I built this set up on a o-turn mower with a bucket scope and a Linear Actuator to dump. HAVE FUN **Q: how long is the wire that comes with the product? I want to mount it on my defender and need to find out how much additional wire I would need.** A: around 6 ft. **Q: Will the hydraulic lift work on a 6volt system?** A: No **Q: does the cat 0 three point hitch attach to this? Excellent lift system, although the hand crank can be cumbersome to use. The hand crank and electric/hydraulic motor mount the same so it's a no brainer which to use.Some reviews have said it's an electric motor, not hydraulic, but mine is an electric powered hydraulic pump. This puppy is STRONG too - lifts and lowers with ease!I use a box blade to grade my long gravel driveway and it works beautifully. It's nice to be able to lift and lower the blade without getting out to adjust it by hand.The only negative I can relate is the instructions are seriously lacking. Assembly figures are an exploded view of the parts with minimal instructions, so some mechanical know-how is beneficial.Finally, kudos to the seller - very helpful and informative . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not bad *by G***S on May 14, 2024* Does what it supposed to do. Wiring diagram did not match the parts I received and the tech guy I called really had no idea how it should be wired. But he referred me to a video that did show the correct wiring. I am happy with itOh yeah I saw one complaint that the cylinder is not hydraulic. He is wrong.
