Durable and worth it
Great stuff had mine for more than 5 years through college and then some. Battery gave up last year .very good device.

Great tablet. Easy to use. Has high sepcs for the price. Great battery life; I charge it about every two weeks. I would definitely recommend. This is my second purchase of this product. Got one for myself a few months ago and got this one for my grandmother.

Absolutely no
Well this was disappointing. I didn't notice the charger type, but was willing to look past that. However it's charging extremely slow. It's been 45 minutes and the battery life only went up 6%. It's literally just sitting here with no usage and the back of the tablet is quite hot. But the most annoying part is how many apps from the play store that is NOT compatible with this tablet, including the Amazon app. At this point I'm not even positive that this is an actual Samsung but more so that someone just slapped the name on it.

refurb is the way to go
Just received the refurbished Galaxy Tab A. It is a replacement for a 1st generation ipad that had seen better days. It works perfectly and looks new. I have the mini sized galaxy tab that i love (also bought it refurbished) As well we are now android/samsung smartphone users. So we have standardized on android technology. No disrespect to apple, but the customization on the galaxy platform makes it much more pleasant and easier to use. Just a matter of taste. Refurbished is the way to go.

The tablet itself is good, I have a Samsung Galaxy phone so the workings are very similar, however, the time it takes to charge this tablet is TERRIBLE. It takes way too long to charge. My old Kindle charges in half the time and my phone takes 20 minutes to charge almost entirely. It was refurbished, however, it should not take this long.
