Will only last as long as the basket holds and straps stay intact.

I bought this item because of all the high reviews but LISTEN. Because of the design, the drawstrings on either side of the pouch make it so that when you pull back the balloon inside the pouch, the edges curl around and trap the balloon inside. We had 2 and had 7 people try and fail to actually launch a water balloon (normal sized). Maybe it would work for large balloons (air balloons), but it was literally trash. Please trust me and buy a different one.

We had a family reunion near a large natural lake. Our children and grandchildren (not to mention other people on the beach and in the lake) had a blast as we launched the rubber chickens, also purchased from Amazon, from the beach out into the lake. Our family and others enjoyed racing to the chicken for retrieval and passing back to the balloon launchers. Our object was to see who could get the featherless chickens to fly the furthest. The launchers worked great! They were easy to handle, took some real stretching and never broke or skipped a beat. We packed them up to use again next year.

I purchased this for a preteen party. I live outside city limits, in the county, so I have plenty of room. The kids had a lot of fun with it. I set up a target on a section of chain link dog kennel panel to encourage shooting at a target rather than each other. Lots of fun...especially for boys this age! I liked the quality of the product.

this was a bad product. did not work at all. we tried multiple times with multiple forms but nothing worked. the balloons just do not launch. the way the pouch is made does not allow the balloon to actually go anywhere. wanna waste your money? ... buy this but if you want an actual launcher ... this is not it.

We bought it to launch TP rolls for a carnival type game for our church. It was mounted to a stand so it could be used by a single person. The tubing was fine but by the end of 3 hours the stitching on the sling was completely ripped open and frayed. We were hoping to use them again next year and that won't be happening. Expected more than a one evening use. They did shoot well while they lasted.

I guess you get what you pay for. This was the least expensive water balloon slingshot I could find. It looks nice but the tubing gives out after about a dozen shots. It is thinner tubing than other slingshots I have used. The balloons that come with it were hard to fill because they ripped easily. But in the end I was able to fill 20 balloons and the kids had a blast with it at the party.

My son wanted his birthday party to have an "Angry Birds" theme, and so I got the idea to make him a life-sized version of the game in the yard, using this launcher as a slingshot, and tennis balls painted to look like Angry Birds, fired toward stacked boxes to knock over. This thing shoots fast and far; if you're launching anything out of it but water balloons, it would be wise to stay out of the line of fire. Another idea using tennis balls with it, is to fire them out of the launcher into a large yard for a dog to chase. We're probably going to take it out this fall and use it to shoot hedge apples at a brick wall to watch them go splat. LOL. I've seen other reviewers using this for mini "pumpkin chunkin" and "apple chunkin" so the possibilities for this toy are endless. Also worth noting, as it was influential in my purchase, that this product is made in USA. This is great for supporting American jobs!
