I thought I would be able to use this tape to lightly secure my card to cricut tray, but it sticks to most of my cardstock when I go to remove card

Works well for my crafting projects! I like that it comes on a roll that you can tear it and use it right away. You don’t have to rip it off the roll.

After having seen this tape used in a multitude of CC demonstrations I was quite enthusiastic about the purchase. I have found, though, that the removal of this tape, after the die and paper goes through the press, it is hard enough to remove that it will actually tear some cardstock and papers. Often the cut has to be repeated. Would opt for a less strong adhesive if it just came off easier.

Crafters Companion knows how to make a paper tape that holds elements in place. I use it to position my dies on paper before going through my BIG SHOT die-cutting machine. I also use it to hold a stencil in place. I reuse these several times. I did learn that it pulls up the design on some thin papers like magazine. (If, like me, you use magazine images in your journal, just plan ahead and use a liquid adhesive like mod podge)

It took 3 week to arrive and then it turns out this tape is no different than regular frosted tape. When using it on watercolor paper I pressed it down just hard enough so watercolor couldn't seep under. When removing it, I folded it back on itself and pulled slowly. Not one piece of tape removed cleanly. It ruined the project. I'll still use this tape, but will press each piece onto a cloth first to get some of the stickiness off. That's what I was doing with my masking tape, but I wanted a low-tack tape right off the roll.

Works good

I bought this to tape my cutting dies and it is not only difficult to remove from the paper, it leaves sticky residue on the dies. This is not low tack tape and since Crafter's Companions is a reputable crafting company it may well be that this tape is a reject, hence now in the hands of a third party seller. It is scotch tape and can be used as such, otherwise I'd return it. A waste of money for me since I now need to spend for Scotch removeable tape, which DOES work, I just thought I was saving money by purchasing this tape.

I would not suggest this for creating a border around your artwork. When I removed this tape, it removed some of the paper with it. I've decided to use it for everyday taping items.

Utiliser pour maintenir en place des dies pour faire des découpes dans ma Gemini. Le papier se déchire lors du décollage : déception. Washi tape ou Post-It fonctionnent mieux et sont moins chers.

This Tape is wonderful I use it for my Embroidery Machine I would recommend it for many quilters and crafters

When I first started to use my Cricut Maker, I thought that card and paper would just 'stick / stay in place' when I attached it to the standard cutting mat. I soon realised that this wasn't the case, and that the card / paper moved very easily during the cutting process. Absolutely not ideal, and what a waste of time, materials and effort! I then tried using low tack masking tape, but again had problems. I did a search on Amazon and found this low tack crafting tape from Crafter's Companion. Three rolls each with 75 metres of low tack crafting tape, designed for card / papercraft use. I try to attach the tape at each corner, and a 1 or 2 inch piece in the middle of each side, and in the middle of the top and bottom. I find this works very well for my projects, I do however take my time whist removing the tape to avoid any damage to the paper / card. I only use this tape now with each project, I find it lasts me a long time, very happy with my purchase!
