Great book! Expertly written with accurate info! Good value for price!
It took two orders to get it here, but Amazon honored my purchase and sent the replacement OVERNIGHT! Thanks Amazon! I haven’t read it yet, but skimming it it seems like a GREAT way to get me back into running. Training makes sense (as someone who used to be an ultra marathon runner before several severe injuries). It sounds like something I can do that will work well. I’m excited to have this book. Going to get a high lighter and highlight the routines and exercises as I try them. It has warm up and cool down exercises too! Great value for the price!

Best all round training plan book for all level runners
For every level of runner this book has it all to train your whole body for speed, strength and endurance. There are plans for novice runners to marathon plans. All you need to do is to commit to it! Have fun!

A good book to map your training for new runners.
My adult grandson asked for a book to help him in his new sport of running. He rated the book highly saying it gave him plenty of tips to improve his performance and personal goals. He doesn't want to compete but the book gave him personal running goals and is helping him map his running plans and meet his goals. He spoke quite highly of this book.

An excellent book!
I am impressed with the amount of information that the author included in this book. The illustrations are great and easy to follow. I have found this book to be very helpful and insightful. So many of my questions have been answered. I highly recommend this book!

Easy To Read
Great starter guide for a new runner. I'm 70yo and just started running a couple years ago. Instructions here help in warm up and challenges as you progress/

Either used or damaged in packing or transit.
This was advertised as new, but the front cover was damaged and had a stain on it. I can’t speak for the contents as it is a gift book and I will not be reading it, but the packing left much to be desired.

Concise
This is a good review of running and how to prevent injury. Has good illustrations of the exercises. Also has sound advice.

Great book
I've had problems with shin pain whilst running for a long time. My physio recommended doing strength training exercises alongside increasing my distance gradually. But I wasn't sure exactly what to do, so I bought this book.I love it! It has a straightforward, direct and common sense approach. I've been doing the beginner's running plan for 7 weeks now, and I've been running pain-free. Each plan includes strength exercises, stretches and running drills and is definitely structured in a way that helps maximise use of your time.I'm very busy and have a 15 month old and still am able to fit in my exercise. I credit this book with helping me to keep going with my running.

A really good manual for first timers and experienced runners .However , the Paper quality was poor and the whole book appeared as though it had been read through several times . Not the usual ‘new’ and unread quality from a normally exceptional supplier
