The unit is lightweight, has a long cord so you're not restricted to a small area, and the hose comes with different nozzles so you can use it for vacuuming narrow spaces, wide sections of carpet, or just whatever fits into the existing base nozzle. Initial assembly takes less than five minutes before the unit is ready to go, and as it's stated, it can be used for wet or dry application. I generally use this for vacuuming around my garage, in my car, and outdoors during the fall to catch all those pesky leaves. If you choose to use it for wet applications, it's easy enough to detach the barrel receptacle to empty and rinse clean. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for a smaller shop vac and something I would purchase again.

I'm embarrassed how fast and free I purchase from Amazon on a regular basis. For years now. I probably need a 12-step program. For me to say this is one of the best purchases I've made is saying a lot. I got it to keep my garage clean but have found it perfect for vacuuming my house which is part tile, and part carpet. My prior vacuum cleaners couldn't effectively pick up my German Shepherd's hair so I would have to combine them with a rake. Ugh. This Stanley has incredible suction and pulls it up out of the carpet effortlessly. I forgot that it also blows, so tomorrow I'm going to try blowing the loose hair out of my GS's coat like they do at groomers. I whole heartly vouch for this product!

I've had the vacuum for a few weeks while we have been doing some renovations and and we have had no issues with the vacuum itself. We did already have the hose attachment rip on us so maybe not the highest quality.

Super strong suction I bought this for some outdoor jobs. It's sucked up Stone with no problem. I will be using it primarily for heavier jobs that my shark can't do Stanley has always been a great brand and this vacuum proves that Stanley lives up to the name of quality.

wow! Wish I had bought this a long time ago - regular vac could not do the job on side porches - to say the least, this one does the job and does it VERY WELL. Dried leaves and dirt comes right up. update: Make sure you know what you are blowing and where it is going to go before doing it - especially if you are an 83 year old woman like me - it really does a number on things!

This is great value for the money! So happy with the performance after basement drywall renos. I also order a pack of the disposable filter bags (25-1230). Needed one to finish the major drywall dust clean up. We'll the bags didn't fit! Correct bag number, but manufacturer packed wrong type in. Called up customer service and first time I've had a person who was mit very helpful. She said they will send out a new pack (2 week wait) and I need to send the others back or I'll be charged. I understand if I had ordered incorrectly. But this was the manufacturer's error. With Covid restrictions here in Ontario I shouldn't have to be lining up to return them. I tried explaining that to the service rep and she promptly hung up! The vac gets full ratings from me, but the customer service gets a big ZERO! And for me customer service is every bit as important as the product itself!

I purchased this vacuum two years ago and it has helped me tremendously. The main reason it was purchased was to suck up the water for when my basement floods. It has worked well for this purpose and I have loaned it to others to use during flooding. It has also been used to clean cars and household messes. It most recently came to the rescue when our patio table glass smashed to pieces. Thank goodness for the Stanley for making what looked like a horrific clean up, an easy clean up, it worked flawlessly to vacuum up the broken glass.

I'd been looking for an option for easily cleaning up bird seed and other detritus and wanted something that wouldn't bring anything bug-like into the house. Since the majority of this vac can be easily cleaned out (except the filter), I can make sure the vac is empty and clean before taking it in. It works very well for that. I did some price compare and this is by far the best value vac of this type and size (and a real brand) that I saw, so it's really good value. The only thing I dislike is that you need to buy bags for it. It comes with one, but I'd really prefer bagless. At this price though, I can't complain too much. I really like the wheels and it comes with an extender wand for those of us with bad backs. The cord is reasonably long, but you might need an extension if using it over a large area. I love the ability to switch to 'wet' for things like cleaning out the oven, where usually it's a pain to get rid of all the cleaning product. I'm hoping it will stand the test of time (safe to assume it has if I don't update later), but I'm happy with it at the moment.
