I'm a very small lady, do these fit well on small wrists ( 5.25“circumference)?

They should, they are adjustable, they fit me well and i have skinny wrists as well

Any issues with pinching on the wrists? That seems to be a fairly common complaint with other brands of similar types of products.

The neoprene is flexible and does not pinch my wrists at all. I have relatively small wrists too. I love these hooks. Very well made. I have tried three other brands and these are the ones I use daily. I can say well made because I am using them in a way they are not manufactured to be used. I have a broken metacarpal in my left hand so I can not make a fist. The hook is allowing me to continue to do pull ups, rows, and a slew of other lifts that would otherwise keep me out of the gym.

do they fit most bars and pullup bars in the gym?

Yes, these fit most bars at the gym

will this help with deadlift?

Yes. I purchased this because I've damaged my left hand; pinky and index finger do perform about 50% so I could not pull lat bar with adequate weight. Will work for dead lifts as well, I would alternate grip (left over - right under).
