Finally made up my mind to replace it and the prices I was seeing almost made me change my mind again. I found this on Amazon by accident and decided to give it a try and was very glad I did. I am very happy that find this is a perfect replacement for me with good fit and so far, after 3 weeks, no problems with the mask slipping around or the velcro coming loose during the night. Finally back to sleeping all night again and that's the best part! Don't do it! Just because something says it is compatible with something else doesn't always make it the best value! I might bring a 5 gallon bucket with a toilet lid camping because it is 'bathroom break' compatible... but that doesn't mean its a good substitute for an actual toilet! *shakes head* Anyways, first off my resmed mask requires magnetic holders on the lower straps. So I had to actually use the magnets from my old, stretched out headgear to make it truly compatible. Then secondly, all night long I kept waking up and having to undo the velcro and readjust because every... single.. time... I moved then the mask lost it's seal because the straps had no flexibility. I have an app that monitors my sleep patterns so that I can see how much deep rest I get. According to my app, I woke up approximately every 25 minutes last night to readjust my mask. So yeah, I am tired and cranky and upset with this product. I am also upset that I now have to use my old and stretched and worn out headgear from Resmed in order to actually get a decent amount of sleep until I can order something that doesn't carry the words: "compatible with" . But if you have an extra large head like me i actually find these features to be more comfortable. The old head gear would strangle my head Velcro would constantly pop off and not hold properly. This new harness is a little bit larger then the official head gear and the Velcro patch is much larger and holds much better then the official head gear.
