Prestige Swim Silicone Long Hair Swimming Cap, Highly Elastic & Durability, Unisex for Men, Women, Adults, Children. Girls and Boys

I have mid-back length thick hair. I purchased this swim cap based on the rave reviews left on Amazon. Granted, the majority of the rave reviews were by women with shoulder length thick hair. They all said that their hair was completely dry after swimming.I tie my hair up into a pony tail and fold it on top of my head; then put the cap on with the ear flaps fully covering my ears. Within one pool lap, water has gotten into the cap, at least through the ear flaps. I stop at the end of the pool, adjust the ear flaps, continue swimming. When I get back into the locker room & take off the cap, the back and sides of my hair are saturated. Only the top of my head & bangs are dry. I've used this at least 5 times so far, and each time my hair is wet. I go to the gym at lunch time; so I return to work with my hair in a pony tail, which is wet.It's a great cap, but it just obviously does not live up to its advertising - at least for me.

I have not even wore it to go swimming as yet. I use it to take a shower every day and piece of it already tore off by the ear. I wish it was made of stronger silicone.

My wife purchased this to protect her hair from the chlorinated pool water at the gym. (She has a short but thick hair). She feels this cap is too tight. The sides flip up after a few laps , letting in water. Seems to be very good quality silicone but not happy with the overall fit.

This cap really didn't work for me at all. I have fairly long (1/2 way down my back), thick hair that this cap was just not up to par to contain. I found myself having to stop to readjust it every lap or so, because it kept sliding back from my forehead. VERY frustrating. I don't know if this is unique to me and my hair, or if others have experienced the same frustration, but I am tossing it and ordering a different brand. I don't think this should be advertised for "long hair" if it can't control the hair I have.

One swim class down, so far so good. It fits tight on the head, but no so tight that it hurts. It managed to cover all of my hair and I have a lot of hair on my head. Out of 2 swim caps purchased this is the best so far.

It keeps long hair up and is easy to put in but ends up being too loose. My hair was wet when I took out off. Also, it's supposed to cover the ears but water kept getting in and pooling inide my ears, not helpful

This is not the type of cap I wanted , but it is a good cap. I got a more traditional one and not for less traction in the water. It's fine for what it is.
