Can you hook this up to your real doorbell so that when they push the button, your real doorbell rings inside to let you know they are at the door?

You can’t unfortunately. :( the reason why it’s because the doorbell itself works with (3 AAA batteries) 4.5 DC volts and your normal doorbell works with 24 AC volts. If you connect them together you’ll fry the microprocessor inside the Halloween one. It can be a way using a relay but that’s only if you know how to do it.

delightful!

Cute as a bug! My husband specified that he wanted a "haunted door knocker"; I ordered this hoping it'd fit the bill, then lamented that I no longer wanted it on our front door, just in case some sneaky kid wants to steal it for himself! I guess we'll have to affix it using tough Command strips instead of a regular hanging hook. I love the fake burnished-brass "eyelids" opening to reveal the glowing-green eyeball, which peers around devilishly. Nicely designed, and seemingly quite sturdy; I love the "cartoonishly" gothic look of it! It's very "Haunted Mansion," and so striking in person. Funny, spooky, and sweet, just the way Halloween intended.

Awesome! Adults and Kids love this Spooky Doorbell

This doorbell is so Awesome! Grandkids all wanted one after using mine so I bought each household one. I keep mine up Mid Sept through Halloween. The eye lights up and says, I believe, 7 different spooky "Welcomes" to all who dare press the door bell!

Feels cheap but works well

It feels like cheap plastic, but for the price this works REALLY WELL! OMG we scared SO many trick-or-treaters with it and got a TON of compliments and giggles from parents and older kids! Honestly I may just leave this up year round so delivery people can keep dying of laughter 😂 it's also loud enough that we can hear it from anywhere in the house, so definitely a win!

Bought 2...one as a gift. This was great, right out of the box! Person whom we gave it to as a gift, is working on how he"ll hook it up as he's real door bell. If he figures how too, I'm next in line. lol I would recommend buying one. Only con was, by the end of evening on Halloween (250 trick or treaters), we were ready to box it up for another year. After Halloween, I found it hanging on my husband's office wall. :)
