Awesome gift or costume. He used it for Halloween and he still plays with it.

I purchased this for my grandson who is 6 and it fits perfectly. He wears a size 5 shirt. His class is having career day and they get to dress up as what they want to be when they grow up and fireman was his choice. This particular costume was the perfect choice. Not only was it reasonably priced but the accessories are definitely a plus! It also came with a tablet ( in case they want to write down the days events) a carry bag for accessories, Ziploc bag to store costume and great ideas on how to help your child/grandchild get maximum use of costume in role playing. Some of the ideas I never would have thought of and appreciated them being included. The costume seems to be made to last. The jacket is not made of flimsy plastic. He loves the fact that water can be put in the fire extinguisher and the handheld radio makes siren sounds. I would have rated 5 stars but the water will not spray from extinguisher properly and the radio has a slight flaw but in it's entirety it will serve its purpose.

PROS: This fits a 3.5yo perfectly. The hat would be too small for a kid much older than that, but the coat would still fit a much older child. It's great quality: thick, opaque material, reflective stripes and lettering spelling FIRE DEPT on the back, and the fire extinguisher can spray water if you fill it up! The walkie talkie fits well in the pocket. CON: the buttons are hard to do, even for an adult. They're made like carabiner clips.

It does fit big but that's okay. I had a hard time finding an outfit for 2T that had this many great accessories for the price and quality. She doesn't care that it's baggy and she will grow with it. All the accessories are great quality along with the coat. But beware the "walkie talkie" it makes a god awful alarm noise, that is extremely loud. I just took the batteries back out and she is just fine with it how it is.

My 3 yr old grandson loves it. It is a little big but we just rolled up the sleeves. The material is a little stiff and the clasps on the jacket are very hard to work with and I can tell they won’t last long. Something different and the kids can use their imagination.

Fun kid dress up costume. Has held up well considering price. Additional items were fun for pretend play.
