Icebreaker Merino Women's Hiking Crew Socks, Merino Wool

I needed hiking socks for Iceland but my feet tend to get hot so I didn't want to get super thick hiking socks that are not very breathable. I also am not super willing to spend a ton of money on socks, but these are great and I like that they fit anatomically instead of the generic sock for both right and left feet.

Hiked for 15 days in the socks; no blisters.

I loved these socks. Can wear them all day and feet stay warm and dry. Hold their shape well too, they wash up nicely over and over again without shrinking or losing their shape or support.

Purchased these for my daughter and she loves them. She has already requested more. I also wear Icebreaker socks and have many pairs. I wear Icebreaker socks almost daily. I work as a meat cutter and I'm on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day, my feet love these and keep them dry. I also work as a full time firefighter and wear a medium weight Icebreaker sock also. Love them. I purchase these to wear with new hiking boots that I was trying to break in, and have worn them more often when working outside through the winter. Colorado winters can be brutal, but these socks are so warm! I do still plan to use them for hiking now that my boots are breaking in and it's warming up, and I'm confident they'll be just as great having already experienced the difference they make in comfort when standing on concrete for long periods.

Like the thicker sole, nice feel not itchy. Warm but not hot. Perfect in hiker shoes. Worked great for trip to Iceland. If shoes are tight these will be too thick.

Generally LOVE Icebreaker socks.....HOWEVER, these are a bit too short. Would appreciate if they would come up higher on myleg. Do not expect that they cover my calf, but additional 1 to 2 inches would be fantastic.Otherwise.....these are excellent Icebreaker quality and warmth.
