I bought these for my 16 month old as she is interested in coloring lately. I LOVE these!! These books are excellent for younger kids who still put everything in their mouths out of curiousity...and could end up coloring on walls or furniture. This just uses water in the little brush. My daughter thoroughly enjoys these books. We keep one in the car if she gets bored as well as the other 2 in the house for quiet playtime. Very neat idea and the pages dry out back to plain so you can use them over and over again. The only 'con' that I have noticed is that my daughter realized there is water in the brush and likes to suck on the tip...this is not good because it will be hard to transition her to actual markers/crayons and prevent from sticking in her mouth...at least until she realizes it is not water. the kids love these, even my 7 yo. they are great for in the car,restaurant, or just letting the kids do coloring activities with no worries of coming back to find markers or paint all over the wall/table/kids/etc... the "brush" holds the water well and doesnt leak out excessively while the kids are using them. While fun enough for my 7yo, they are easy enough that we use them with our 2 yo regularly. bought this pack to give as stocking stuffer at Christmas cuz the kids cant get enough of them Did I mention they are reusable - HUGE PLUS!!!

My 4 year old loves coloring and this is fantastic and super fun as you can reuse the pages over and over. Good size and easy to store away. The pages are thick. The only down side we experienced was that the pens were leaking water while traveling, other than that it’s great! I would recommend this product.

Super easy for kids to use, not messy which is great for young kids! Perfect for the car or on the go. Just add water inside the handle of the brush, and then kids can paint. Dry up pretty fast so they can be reused and still work really well after multiple uses. Good price for getting multiple in the pack. Would purchase again!

We love these! Such a great idea. No mess because it’s just water. I have a 7, 5, 3, and 20 month old and everyone of them play with these. We take them to church and they are great quiet time activities. It has helped my youngest to learn how to hold a pen right as it is a little thicker around. It’s easy even for her to do it. The pages once wet dry probably within 10 minutes if you separate them and kind of air them out. The pen gives out just enough water so that it gets the pages wet so the picture comes through but not too much that it drips. Great product! We have several sets of these and I have given these as gifts as well.

I can't say enough good things about these books! These books are a hit with my 2 year old, but my 5 year old also enjoys playing with them (and I actually enjoy them too!). These books are small enough to throw into a diaper bag and bring along to entertain the kids when we are out. All you need to enjoy these books is a small amount of water. When the page dries, you are ready to paint again. The water pens are the right size to fit in a small child's hand. Another fun aspect is the hidden objects you need to find on each page as you reveal them. The only downside to these is that the page eventually do begin to show signs of wear. They begin to curl and fold a little after heavy use, but the books are still useable and it does not affect your ability to color.

This is the second set of these we have bought because are kids use them so much on trips. It’s an easy toy to pull out for them when on the go. We had to buy a second set because our previous ones have been pretty scratched up due to kids using to much pressure with the brushes. I wish they used more of a soft/marker like tip instead of brush bristles that get bent and smashed (See image of previously purchased set) Pros Easy to use No mess Reusable Great for traveling Cons Must have water in pen Pages easily scratch (see images of previously purchased items) Order slightly damaged (see image): Not a huge deal but we did receive one book that had a bent corner. It seems like the actually coloring pages are fine though.

Melissa and Doug products are always a hit with the toddler set. Purchased these for a group of little ones who would be taking a long car trip. Their mom told me it held their interest and provided a fun activity in the car.

My one year old and my almost three year old fight over these! I love that they are mess free and reusable and easy for little hands! Perfect for travelling or restaurants we use these all the time! And this three pack was a steal of a deal on sale!

My 4 year old daughter loves these and has since she was 2. And I feel at ease giving them to her pretty much anywhere. No mess! They last awhile and can be used over and over again. A staple for a preschooler who loves painting/colouring. The 3 pack was a replacement to much loved others we had for a couple years.
