Are they gluten free?

Rice is gluten free. This is a gluten free product. Some flavored rice mixes sold in markets may contain gluten, but that is because other products have been added to the product. Rice is gluten free. If you have any concerns please address them with the seller. The only other caution is that is may have been produced in an environment that produces gluten containing products. Check with seller.

Can you paint them, to change the color?

No these are very small and made of rice paper. I was very disappointed with these and still have not used them. They look entirely different than advertised

can you decorate the top of pudding with this product

Although these are pretty thick, they react to moisture , they would dissolve in pudding, but you could take mini marshmallows and cut them in half or jus the end to make them tacky and adhere the flower to that and this should put a barrier in between
