I am extremely impressed, you likely wont find a better deal that is readily available.I use what some call the “Slavic Release” instead of the standard western style. (this is what Lars Anderson uses, look him up on youtube if you havn’t already, also check out Armin Hirmer). If you’re interested in this sort of speed/trick shooting, you’ll be very happy with this bow if you’re looking for something cheap, fast, and good.I also want to mention that I use specialized speed shooting nocks, they fit the string perfectly. They’re also available on amazon, search for “Vermil Nocks” (I use the V style)I use the 50 pound versionI’ve been using this bow almost everyday for several weeks nowProsCheapDurableBeautifulSafe and easy to string for the unexperiencedExcellent to learn thumb release or “Slavic release”Very comfortable handleHand shock is pretty minor when you’re holding it rightLooks like something from a fantasy gameConsEffectively nothing, the leather used for the handle is extremely soft(which feels nice)But it means your arrow will ware through a small section of it pretty fast, not a problem tho, this is normal,Just faster than expected with such soft leather.
